摘要： A roofer's utility box includes non-rectangular sides angled downward from one end of the box to the other, defining a substantially trapezoidal box. Retractable leveling legs disposed on its downhill face extend below the box bottom to enable leveling its top surface. Roof anchors and a ridge tether on the uphill end, and a safety brace on the downhill end, secure the box in place. Lifting and towing handles cooperate with retractable castors to facilitate positioning the box. Masts extending upward from the box's downhill end, and a yard arm spanning between them, support a walkway plank to create temporary scaffolding supported by the box. A variety of exterior utility devices attach to the box and scaffolding masts, including trays, cutting and clamping surfaces and electrical and pneumatic outlets for use with power tools. The box interior may be fitted with an ice chest and/or sliding trays for convenient storage.

In a one aspect the invention is a gutter ladder anchor formed from a metal plate, and comprising a flat base, having left, right, rear, and front ends; a fold at the front end of the base; one or more legs extending from the fold; a flange at the end of each leg, folded upwards; one or more holes located in each leg for mounting a vertical eye or a ladder location attachment; a first pattern of spaced apart holes through the base for fixing the anchor to a batten or purlin, said first pattern extending from the left end to the right end; and one or more holes through the flange of each leg for fixing the anchor to a gutter.

摘要： A support apparatus for supporting a load on an inclined surface, the support apparatus includes a pair of base extensions removably engaged to the inclined surface, each base extension having first and second end portions, further included is a support platform that includes a plurality of gap forming spaced apart parallel beams that each have proximal and distal end portions, the proximal end portions have a first pivotal attachment to the first end portions. Also, a pair of arms each having a shoulder portion and a strut portion, the shoulder portions have a second pivotal attachment to the distal portions, wherein the strut portions are removably engagable to the second end portions to operationally lock a selected platform angle to the base extensions. Operationally, the platform supports the load with the gaps providing increased lateral grip for the load on the support platform.

The roofing bracket has a first section and a plurality of second sections, each section having a base that defines a top and bottom face. A pressure clamping device extends between the first section and each of the plurality of second sections. A plank support system is selectively mountable onto the first section and configured to receive and retain a plank therein. The plank support system defines a plank support face and an angle lift mechanism configured to place a plank in a substantially horizontal position. A clamping adjustment mechanism is mounted onto each of the plurality of second sections and is configured to apply a torque to the first section and each of the second sections.

摘要： In one embodiment, a fall protection system including a J-shaped stanchion that attaches to a roof truss (or rafter) in such a manner as to enable the entire girth of the roof truss overhang (or rafter) to be the sole support for the stanchion. The stanchion is designed to bend below the fascia and return up above the roof surface where successive stanchions similarly attached are connected via a fall protection guardrails providing fall protection for all workers. This single point of attachment allows the carpenters to attach the stanchions prior to hoisting the trusses onto the roof bearing walls. As soon as the trusses are properly braced, the guardrails can be hoisted and secured. In another embodiment, the disclosure includes a combination fall protection and catwalk system for above-ground floors. In another embodiment, the disclosure includes a fall protection system for reroofing applications.

摘要： A number of roofing accessories, including a lightweight adjustable ladder and scaffold support are disclosed. The scaffold support is provided with a pair of rails spaced the standard spacing of most roof joists. Connected to the rails through suitable holes and slots, are rods supporting an adjustable platform. One of the rods may be placed through a corresponding slot to achieve a suitable angle of adjustment corresponding to roof incline. An apparatus is also provided for supporting loads of materials or supplies on an inclined roof, using components and parts in common with the scaffold support, or components and parts similar thereto. A tool tray is provided which may be backed with a layer of foam to prevent the tray from slipping off the roof, while allowing the tray to be freely moved along and up and down the roof, as work progresses.
