Abstract:
A carriage for a folding door or window, the carriage comprising a body, a movement portion adapted to facilitate movement of the carriage relative to a track, and at least a pair of hinge bolts adapted for connection to the body.
Abstract:
An improved rolling pivot for suspended support of articulated panels such as shutters or room dividers in an overhead channel. The device features angled engagement of overlapped wheels of the rolling pivot in the overhead channel to thereby allow the supported articulated panels to be closed and opened by directing force to side edges of the suspended panels instead of having to pull the lead panel in the array. The device also allows for minimizing the width of the overhead channel and easy insertion and removal of individual pivot assemblies with the overhead channel by a simple rotation of the carriage of the pivot assembly to remove the wheels from operational engagement with tracks formed in the carriage and allow the wheels and pivot assembly to slide through a gap in the channel between the tracks.
Abstract:
An enclosed sliding door assembly for simply and efficiently sealing a doorway is disclosed. The enclosed sliding door assembly is further advantageous in that it has a configuration that is designed to protect its elements from environmental and corrosive conditions. The enclosed sliding door assembly comprises a housing enclosing a drive mechanism and a door movably and operatively engaged to the drive mechanism. The housing of the assembly is further configured to form a track portion that provides for both a linear length of sliding travel and a contoured length of sliding travel, respectively, for the door. The drive mechanism within the housing is further configured to cooperate with the track portion formed by the housing, such that when the drive mechanism slides the door along the track portion, the door can be moved between an open position and a closed position.

Abstract:
The device comprises a guide rail (1) having a cross-section in the general shape of a C and fixed to a wall (M) and defining two guide surfaces (8, 9). One of the guide surfaces (8) has a notch (2) with which cooperates at least one roller (G.sub.1) or other rolling or sliding element carried by the door support means (13). The other guide surface cooperates with at least one roller (G.sub.2) or other rolling or sliding element carried by a pivotal arm (21) connected to the door (P). The or each pivotal arm is disposed completely within the rail (1) and operates under compressive stress.
Abstract:
A sliding roller assembly includes a plurality of blocks, configured to be connected in series, at least one roller device provided between each of the plurality of blocks, where the roller device includes a main body having at least one roller bearing disposed in the main body.
Abstract:
A sliding door apparatus capable of effectively restraining sliding movement of a door body is provided. A sliding door apparatus 1 includes: a rail 20 having an inner surface 24 formed to have a concave shape, the inner surface 24 having a first support surface 24A and a second support surface 24B which are not parallel to each other; a hanger 30A, 30B having a first driving member (32, 37) in rolling contact with the first support surface 24A, and a second driving member (33, 38) in rolling contact with the second support surface 24B; and a door body 40 configured to be moved in a longitudinal direction of the rail 20 through the hanger 30A, 30B. When seen along the longitudinal direction of the rail, the first support surface 24A and the second support surface 24B are formed to come close to each other as they extend toward a bottom of the inner surface 24.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a panel carriage which is adapted to traverse a pair of rails used to form a track within a joinery system. The carriage includes a main body and at least a pair of wheels, with the wheels of each pair being located on opposite sides of the main body. The panel carriage also includes an adjustable linkage associated with each wheel, where such an adjustable linkage or linkages are adapted to locate at least one wheel on a side of the main body, and a linkage is also adapted to allow movement of a wheel towards and away from the main body.
Abstract:
The sliding sash is supported at a guide rail by a sash portion projecting from the floor in a vertical plane and a sash portion ascending in an inclined plane relative to the inside adjoins an additional tipper sash portion which projects up in the vertical plane and is set back. Every sash portion is formed by a section bar arm receiving a glass pane. The upper sash portion is guided at a ceiling rail with two running paths which are arranged at a distance from one another and parallel to one another. In order to secure this guide relative to loading by wind and/or snow, each running path is formed of two inclined guide paths of a web head of the ceiling rail, this web head having a triangular cross section, and support rollers which are supported at an inclination run on the guide paths of every web head at a roller holder which is fastened to the terminating section bar of the upper sash portion.
Abstract:
A door hanger for suspending folding doors from an overhead track having a resiliently mounted roller carrier reciprocably disposed on a stem which is removably mounted on a door plate and which is latched in place by a sliding latch.
