    Abstract: A screen repair patch and a screen flaw repair method. The screen repair patch includes an optical layer, a substrate layer, and an adhesion layer. The optical layer and a screen to be repaired have the same or similar optical performance. The substrate layer has a thickness of 10 to 250 microns. The adhesion layer has a thickness of 5 to 200 microns. In the screen flaw repair method, a repair patch is cut off from a region on a patch sheet corresponding to the position of a flaw of a screen, and the repair patch is attached to the corresponding position of the flaw of the screen by using a joining direction of the screen as an affixing direction of the repair patch. The screen repair patch and the screen flaw repair method of the present disclosure uses a patch that can be easily affixed and removed and can repair a flaw on site to maintain original optical efficiency and uniformity of a screen and are applied to a polarization-preserving screen to maintain high polarization contrast, so as to extend the service life of the screen.

    Abstract: A sliding screen door for facilitating access through an entryway by a child includes a frame and a screen mounted to the frame. In addition, an adult height handle having a bottom edge is mounted on the frame at a first height from a floor adjacent the door, and a child height handle is mounted on the frame at a height below the bottom edge of the adult height handle. It is also contemplated that the two handles can be combined into a single elongate handle. This ensures that a child, who cannot reach the adult height handle, has access to a door handle for opening and closing the sliding screen door.

    Abstract: A decorative patch for repairing screens and other thin materials. The decorative patch includes two interlocking portions that are also separable. Each of these portions has a flat surface on one side that is adapted to rest upon the surface of the material that is being repaired. The opposite side of each of these portions has a three-dimensional decorative surface. Each of the separable portions has spaced protrusions extending from the flat surface that are adapted to be insertable into apertures located in the flat surface of the other portion. Both of these portions are made from a plastic or similar material that is capable of transmitting at least a portion of light through it. These two portions are adapted to be located on the respective sides of the screen or the like that is to be repaired. The decorative patch provides an easy and economical way in which to either permanently or temporarily repair a screen or some other similar material.
