    摘要： A vehicle seat includes: a first member; a second member; an insertion fastening structure configured to apply an axial tension to an opposed surface portion of the first member and an opposed surface portions of the second member so as to be pressed against each other; and an adjustment member. The opposed surface portion of the second member includes different surface shape portions facing respective surfaces toward directions different from an application direction of the axial tension, and the adjustment member plastically deforms the opposed surface portion of the second member such that the opposed surface portion of the second member, including the different surface shape portions, is pressed and sandwiched between the adjustment member and the opposed surface portion of the first member by the application of the axial tension.

    摘要： A fastening device includes an insert and an extension bar, where the insert is configured to have a coupling engagement with a bolt so that when coupled together they form a fastener. The insert may include a bolt aperture and an extension aperture. An extension bar may be inserted within the extension aperture to assist with placing and holding the insert into position while the bolt is inserted into the bolt aperture. The bolt and insert may be used to generate a mating engagement between two ancillary structures and fasten them together. While connected to the insert, the extension may be used to assist with maneuvering, positioning, stabilizing and angling the insert to facilitate alignment between the bolt and the bolt aperture. The extension bar may be removed from the extension aperture after the mating engagement is formed.

    摘要： A threaded rod hanger has quick lock plunger mechanism that includes plunger pieces within a tapered hole in a housing. The plunger pieces have tapered outer surfaces. A spring within the housing presses the plunger pieces toward the narrow end of the bore, with the spring located between the plunger pieces and a back plate that closes off part of a wide end of the tapered bore. The plunger pieces have internally threaded surfaces that engage threads on a threaded rod that is inserted into the bore, between the plunger pieces. Once the threaded rod has been inserted between the plunger pieces and released, the plunger pieces are pushed toward the narrow bore end. This causes the plunger pieces to press inward, automatically causing the internal plunger half threads to engage the external threads on the threaded rod.

    摘要： A fastener nut for securing a part to channel framing defining at least one internal, generally T-shaped track extending lengthwise of the channel framing. The fastener nut includes a nut body, and first and second wings extending longitudinally outward from respective first and second longitudinal ends of the body. The first and second wings having respective terminal ends defining an effective wing span therebetween that is greater than the length of the body such that at least a portion of the fastener nut has a generally T-shaped side profile. The fastener nut is insertable in the generally T-shaped track of the channel framing to allow the fastener nut to slide along the length of the channel framing and to restrict transverse movement of the fastener nut in the interior, relative to length of the framing, for use in positioning the fastener nut along the channel framing.
