Abstract: A low-beam primary optical element for a vehicle lamp, a vehicle lamp module comprising the low-beam primary optical element, a vehicle lamp, and a vehicle. The low-beam primary optical element comprises light entrance portion, a light passage portion and a light exit portion which are sequentially arranged from back to front. The light exit portion comprises a main light exit surface and a second light exit surface connected to the main light exit surface. A low-beam cutoff line structure is provided at the secondary light exit surface. The secondary light exit surface is configured to refract light emitted to the low-beam cutoff line structure forward and upward. The low-beam primary optical element has a simple structure, and can effectively improve the color of a low-beam light-dark cutoff line and mitigate color dispersion.

The second reflecting surface (22a) forms light (R3) in a second light distribution pattern by reflecting second light (R2) formed of the partial light (R1a) reflected by the first reflecting surface (21a) and adds the light (R3) in the second light distribution pattern to the light (R1b, R1c) in the first light distribution pattern.

Abstract: This invention is a projector headlight that, while offering dual beam patterns, boasts a 100% utilization of the light emitted from a light source by one of the following methods: (1) employing a reflective cutoff shield means to reflect the incoming light from said light source back to the reflector to enhance the illumination in low-beam pattern, (2) using reversible cutoff shield means to reflect the incoming light from said light source back to the reflector to enhance the illumination in low-beam pattern with no moving part involved, (3) utilizing a selective light-filter cutoff means to selectively reflect the incoming light from said light source back to the reflector to enhance the illumination in low-beam pattern without making use of any moving part, (4) using a low-beam light-emitting subassembly and a high-beam light-emitting subassembly that are separated by partition means to achieve dual beam patterns with no moving part, or (5) adopting a low-beam light-emitting subassembly in low-beam pattern and a high-beam light-emitting subassembly in high-beam pattern without any moving part.
