摘要： The child resistant gas lighter of the invention has an ignition sleeve having a slit defined therein and an integrated safety cap having a press surface, an opposite slide surface, a direction bar formed on the slide surface which is inserted in the slit and is able to make the safety cap slidable in the slit. In use, a user has to move the safety cap against a bias spring by his thumb until the safety cap is no longer blocked by a top surface of a flame cover and then press down the safety cap. The invention is hard for children to get understand how to ignition thus making it safer for children, and needs a smaller pressing force thus making the gas lighter more adult user friendly without sacrificing child resistance.

摘要： A lighter, in the form of a tubular shape in particular, is provided with a safety button. The lighter includes an ignition button having a surface to which the safety button is mounted. The surface of the ignition button defines a slot in which the safety button is received. The safety button is biased by a spring to have a pin engaging a notch defined in an inside wall of a casing of the lighter to set the lighter in a locked status. The safety button can be manually moved against the spring to disengage the safety pin from the notch to thereby release the locked status, and then the ignition button can be pressed down to set a fire at a fire outlet orifice that receives fuel from a fuel container accommodated in the casing.

摘要： A lighter having a safety mechanism comprises a fuel reservoir; an ignition base comprising a supporting frame on each of two opposite sides thereof; an actuating element; and a wheel comprising a rotating shaft on each of two sides thereof. A resilient element is disposed between the supporting frames and provided with a flint. A retaining hole is formed on each of the supporting frames and comprises a first and a second slot, the first slot having a width smaller than a width of the second slot. The rotating shafts are so shaped that they cannot rotate when engaged in the first slots but can rotate in the second slots. The wheel is pivotally connected to the retaining holes by the rotating shafts and is biased by the flint on the resilient element so that the rotating shafts are engaged in the first slots, preventing the wheel from being rotated.

摘要： A flint wheel lighter with a safety device, comprises a casing, a fuel container disposed in the casing, a vent assembly, an ignition assembly, and a windproof hood above the fuel container, the ignition assembly is arranged on the side opposite to the windproof hood.
