    摘要: A cryogenic refrigerator includes a compressor which compresses a working gas, a housing which includes a space which the working gas compressed by the compressor flows into and flows from, a cylinder of which an end is connected to the housing and which includes an expansion space at the other end, and a displacer which permits flowing of the working gas into and from the expansion space via a working gas channel provided in an inner portion of the displacer while reciprocating in an inner portion of the cylinder. The working gas flows through a pipe which communicates with the space and the working gas channel.

    摘要: Cryogenic apparatus is provided having first and second single-shot refrigerators and an enclosure for containing a coolant gas. First and second condensation surfaces are provided within the enclosure, the said surfaces being selectively cooled when in use by the respective first and second single-shot refrigerators such that coolant gas condenses on the surfaces as liquid coolant. A cold platform which, receives the liquid coolant from the condensation surfaces. The enclosure is adapted to provide a path for gaseous coolant between the first and second condensation surfaces, the path having a lower hydraulic impedance than that between each of the condensation surfaces and the cold platform.

    摘要: A refrigerator operating below the lambda -point of 4He in which a mixture of 3He and 4He is circulated by means of a liquid pump first to a cooler having a temperature lower than that of the lambda -point of the mixture producing superfluid 4He in addition to a mixture of normal 4He and liquid 3He. The superfluid 4He is passed through a superleak and combined with said mixture to dilute same in a mixing chamber, thus producing cold to cool an object disposable in the chamber. An exhaust duct from the mixing chamber is proportioned so that the medium discharged therethrough exceeds its critical speed and thus flows turbulently.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing very low temperature cold through a dilution cycle wherein a two-phase mixture of the two isotopes 3He and 4He is created in a mixing chamber from liquid 3He and 4He added separately, wherein said mixture of the 3He from a so-called concentrated phase is extracted so as to pass 3He into a so-called diluted phase, and due to which the cold energy generated by passing the 3He into the diluted phase is recovered, the phase separation of the two-phase mixture being carried out by monitoring the flows of pure 3He and 4He, added separately into the mixing chamber, and by gravity-independent capillary forces, the dilution cycle operating in a closed loop, the method including a first step of recovering and separating the two isotopes 3He and 4He from the fraction of the mixture extracted through a discharge duct; and a second step of adding the two isotopes 3He and 4He, separated during the first step, back into the mixing chamber. The invention also relates to a refrigerator.
