    摘要： A carriage return apparatus for reciprocable longitudinal movement along a shaft that traverses a support rail of a grain stirring device mounted on a grain bin. The carriage return includes a primary carrier and a satellite carrier movably mounted on the shaft between first and second longitudinally spaced engagement plates protruding radially therefrom and a reversing rod assembly coupling the carriers together for movement in unison between the plates on the shaft. The primary carrier has a pivotally mounted drive bearing for frictionally engaging the shaft and moving both carriers therealong. The length of the reversing rod assembly can be selected so as to optimize the stirring coverage in the grain bin.

    摘要： The apparatus provides a recirculating normal batch, concurrent flow, grain dryer and an alternate small batch countercurrent flow grain dryer. Hot drying air is provided by an external conventional burner and air fan. For the normal batch, the hot air is forced to a central plenum in the grain holding bin where it radiates outwardly into horizontal conduits then passes downwardly through the grain as it moves under gravity and exits at a lower lever to the atmosphere through horizontal conduits. The gravity forced flow of grain is recirculated to the bins upper area by a centrally located elevating auger. A pivotal roof portion of the hot air inlet flues when pivoted downwardly provides a countercurrent alternate path for the hot air for small batch drying. "V" plate ribs support an inverted "V" ring cone on the lower and inner cone of the bin for proper grain flow control.

    摘要： A particulate material storing and moving apparatus comprising an upstanding bin defining a center vertical axis, a concentric circular floor for the bin, the floor having an outer peripheral portion and a center portion, the floor being supported for movement about the center axis, and a driver for moving the floor about the axis. Conveyors are provided for moving such material from the center portion either upwardly to the top of the bin or downwardly and outwardly to the outside of the bin, the conveyors having entry ends disposed adjacent the center portion and discharge ends. Particulate material movers are carried on the floor to be movable therewith, the movers being proportioned and designed to move the material radially inwardly toward the center portion as the floor rotates. The movers on the floor sweep underneath the material and move it radially inwardly.
