The present application relates to a drying apparatus and a system for preparing batteries. The drying apparatus includes a drying tower and a cooling mechanism. The cooling mechanism is disposed on the drying tower, and the cooling mechanism is used for cooling the inner wall of the drying tower, so that the temperature of the inner wall of the drying tower is controlled within the required temperature range. In this way, when the drying tower performs spray drying operation, after the material is in contact with the inner wall of the drying tower, the phenomenon that the material melts because of a high temperature of the inner wall and adheres to the inner wall is avoided. This reduces the probability of the material hanging on the wall, thereby improves the production rate and granulation quality of the material.

The present application relates to a heat recovery apparatus and method, and according to the heat recovery apparatus and method of the present application, since the low-grade heat source of less than 100° C. discharged in industrial sites or various chemical processes, for example, processes for producing the petrochemical products may be used without being discarded to produce steam and the produced steam may be utilized in various processes, it is not only possible to reduce the amount of high temperature steam as the external heat source for use in a reactor or distillation column and to maximize the energy-saving efficiency, but also at least two refrigerant streams may be heat exchanged with the waste heat stream by dividing one refrigerant stream in a cascade method and circulating the resulting streams, and the pressure of the refrigerant stream flowing into the compressor can be adjusted relatively high compared to the heat recovery apparatus using the only one refrigerant stream, so that it is possible to reduce the amount of energy required for compression in the compressor.

In one embodiment, the exchanger includes a diffuser hub, exchanger extension arms that extend radially outward from the diffuser hub, one or more exchanger rings that intersect with the heat exchanger extension arms, and a fill tube that extends to the diffuser hub. One or both of the heat exchanger arms and/or the exchanger rings include fluid apertures that direct fluid into the pool. Fluid pumped into the fill tube may flow through into the diffuser, through the exchanger extension arms and/or the one or more exchanger rings, and out through the fluid apertures at various locations into the pool. As such, heated fluid, or fluid to be mixed, for example, may be more evenly and quickly distributed into the pool.

A modular integrated cooling and heating system for effluents and other uses involving mixing tanks connected in series, hot water supply pipes connected to each of the mixing tanks in order to convey to each mixing tank a portion of the hot water effluent from a power plant. Cooling water pipes are connected to each of said mixing tanks in order to deliver cooling water from a river or other source to said mixing tanks whereby hot and cooling water mixes in said first tank with the water mixture being continuously passed into said second tank for mixing with additional cooling water from a cooling water pipe. The number of stages or mixing tanks will vary depending upon the cooling capacity desired.In another embodiment of the invention, the hot water effluent conveyed to the first tank is not allowed to mix with the cooling water, but instead of the hot water effluent runs through convoluted piping in said first tank and is then discharged into said second tank with the remainder of the system being identical. This is the so-called co-generation modification utilizing hot effluent water which contains undesirable chemicals. In this co-generation modification the local water supplied by the water company or other utility is heated by contacting the hot walls of the convoluted piping and such heated water is then pumped in the uncontaminated state to homes or similar use.

A system for redistilling alcohol includes a heating vessel configured to receive a continuous stream of liquid white spirit and vaporize the liquid white spirit and a flavor vessel in direct fluid communication with and downstream of the heating vessel. The flavor vessel houses various botanicals and allows the vaporized white spirit to passes over the botanicals, thereby vaporizing volatile compounds of the botanicals and flavoring the vaporized white spirit. The system further includes a condenser in fluid communication with and downstream of the flavor vessel to obtain a redistilled alcohol product. Methods of redistilling an alcohol are also provided.
