Abstract: The present invention is generally directed to a Wind Speed Displaying Reticle System. In one embodiment, the Wind Speed Displaying Reticle System includes a Laser Beam Emitter that emits and projects a laser beam onto an intended target to facilitate measurement of distance and wind speed. The Wind Speed Displaying Reticle System also includes a Laser Beam Comparator that receives a reflected laser beam projected by the Laser Beam Emitter. The Laser Beam Comparator then determines the variance between a profile of the projected laser beam and a profile of the reflected laser beam. The Laser Beam Comparator also determines and analyzes wind effects on the reflected laser beam. The Wind Speed Displaying Reticle System further includes a Ballistic Calculator that receives wind effects data from the Laser Beam Comparator, and uses the wind effects data to calculate environmental effects data on a projectile's flight. In addition, the Wind Speed Displaying Reticle System includes a Look-Through Display that receives environmental effects data from the Ballistic Calculator, and presents the environmental effects data to the user.

Abstract: A targeting system operable to be used with a bow to assist an operator with striking a target with an arrow. The targeting system may comprise a processor, a target sighting window, a ranging module and a projector. The processor may be configured to control the projector to project a first sighting element onto the target sighting window to select the target, determine a range to the selected target based on the reflected beam, determine an orientation of the bow based at least partially on the determined range to the selected target, determine a location on the target sighting window to present a compensated sighting mark corresponding to the determined orientation, and control the projector to present the variable compensated sighting mark on the target sighting window.

Abstract: A display assembly for a scope configured to attach a weapon. The display assembly comprises an attachments position for releasably mounting to the scope. The attachment position includes a mounting mechanism configured to releasably engage a tube of the scope. A coupling mechanism is configured to couple the mounting mechanism to the tube of the scope when fielded. A housing is coupled to the attachment portion. The housing is adjacent to an eyepiece of the scope when fielded, and extends both away from the tube, and towards an ocular lens of the scope with respect to an optical path of the scope. The housing includes an electronic display coupled to a mount, a circuit card communicably coupled to the electronic display, a power source, and an interface coupling the electronic display and the circuit card.

Abstract: A holographic sight comprises a unitary optical component carrier having a plurality of receptacles for receiving optical components. A collimating optic abuts a surface of a first receptacle. A mirror abuts a surface of a second receptacle. A collar is positioned in a third receptacle and a laser diode is positioned within the collar. A first portion of the collar is affixed relative to a first portion of the third receptacle and a second portion of the collar is free to expand and contract relative to the third receptacle. The laser diode is affixed to the collar proximate the second portion and is free to move relative to the third receptacle with expansion and contraction of the second portion. The laser diode, the mirror, and the collimating optic are positioned relative to each other to create an optical path.
