    摘要: A shooting sports sight apparatus to inhibit unwanted stray light of an observable scene. An example apparatus comprises a sight housing having a first end, a second end, an outer surface, and an inner surface. At least one concentric ring is positioned between the first end and the second end. At least one annular groove is defined between the first end of the sight housing and the concentric ring. The concentric ring provides a surface for stray light photons entering the first end of the sight housing to bounce in directions generally away from the line of sight into the annular groove, thereby inhibiting the stray light photons from entering field of regard (FOR) photons reaching the aft end of the sight housing which make up the observable scene where the second end has means for changing the baffle aperture diameter forming the final light baffle of the baffle assembly.

    摘要: A mount for a crossbow adjustable multiple fiber optic sight with a sight housing and having a plurality of adjustable sight pins. A graduated elevation scale is secured to the sight housing and a graduated slide scale with adjustable clamps is secured to the graduated elevation scale. A mounting bracket having a first base mount is mounted on a cross bow riser and a second base mount is connected to and extends upwardly from the base mount. A bracket fastener is attached to the vertical base mount and has an upper clamping surface and a second horizontal bracket fastener is positioned below the first horizontal bracket panel and including a lower clamping surface. An adjuster screw clamps the two bracket fasteners together so that they are able to clamp onto the graduated slide scale and hold it in an adjusted position with the adjusting screw.

    摘要: A sighting device for a bow which attaches to a release mechanism being used with said bow. The sighting device includes a sighting assembly, a positioning-and-orienting arm with multiple degrees of freedom, and a mounting clamp. The sighting assembly includes an annular plate, a sight eyepiece, and a telescoping support arm. The sight eyepiece is oriented normal to the annular plate and is positioned within a lateral boundary that is defined as an extension of an inner wall of the annular plate. The telescoping support arm is swivelably and adjacently connected to the annular plate and holds the sight eyepiece in place. A first end of the positioning-and-orienting arm is adjacently attached to the annular plate and a second of the positioning-and-orienting arm is attached to the mounting clamp. The mounting clamp is attached to the release mechanism, thus positioning the sighting assembly directly in front of the user's eye.

    摘要: A crossbow includes a barrel, a wing supported on a front portion of the barrel, a string connected to the wing at two ends, a rear sight supported on a rear portion of the barrel, and a string-pulling unit movably supported on the barrel and adapted for pulling the string backward on the barrel. The string-pulling unit includes two parallel shanks, a handle and a crossbar. The shanks are movable along two parallel lateral faces of the barrel. The handle is connected to the shanks near a rear end of each of the shanks. The crossbar is connected to the shanks near a front end of each of the shanks and adapted for keeping the shanks in position relative to each other. Moreover, the crossbar extends over the barrel. A front sight is formed on the crossbar and adapted for cooperation with the rear sight during aiming.
