    摘要： What is described is a hinge device for connecting the sides (2) to the fronts of spectacle frames (4), comprising a first and a second hinge element (6, 7) pivoting about a hinge axis (X), the first element (6) comprising a substantially fork-shaped body (8) with a first and a second arm (9, 10) opposed to one another, between which the second hinge element (7) is interposed, and a screw means (16) forming a hinge pin, passing through respective holes formed coaxially in the first and the second hinge element (6, 7), so as to be, respectively, locked by a screw engagement in the first hinge element (6) and housed rotatably in the second hinge element (7). The device further comprises at least a first anti-seizing sleeve (18) provided in the hole (13) of the second hinge element (7) and capable of being engaged by the hinge screw (16) in a rotatable coupling, the sleeve (18) comprising at least a first surface (20) extending in a contact area and capable of relative sliding between the hinge elements(6, 7), at least one ring (22) of elastically flexible material, fitted on the hinge screw (16) and capable of being deformed elastically as a result of the tightening of the screw so as to exert a relative pressure between the first and the second hinge element (6, 7), thereby increasing the friction provided between the hinge elements, and at least one bush (23) mounted in a seat of the first hinge element (6), coaxially with the hinge screw (16), and capable of accommodating the ring (22), the bush (23) including at one of its axial ends a bearing shoulder (24) for the ring (22), and being capable of making contact with the first surface of the anti-seizing sleeve (18), so that the bush (23) is biased axially against the sleeve (18) by the elastic action generated by the friction ring (22) as a result of the tightening of the hinge screw (16).

A first component has a downwardly extending portion inserting within the hinge and defined by aligning locations established between front and side portions of the eyeglass frame, the first component further having an upper projecting post. A second component includes any decorative configuration and exhibits a recessed underside which facilitates installation of the second component upon the upper projecting post of the first component such that the decorative component extends above, as opposed to aside, the hinge and temporal legs. Additional features include a linearly adjustable spacer at an intermediate location along the first component. The first component may further include a lower screw portion and an upper separable post portion.

    摘要： A hinge structure of a spectacle frame has bearings formed at the ends of end pieces provided outside a pair of lenses or outside the rims supporting the lenses, pivotally rotatable shafts at the tips of a pair of temples are pivotally rotatably connected with the bearings, a compressed elastic means, being provided around the pivotally rotatable shaft exposed in the recess between the flange and the support face, to give pressure to the bearing for keeping the sliding face of the temple in slidable contact with the sliding face of the bearing. The hinge structure of a spectacle frame overcomes the disadvantages of the conventional hinge structure; that is functionally excellent because of easy assembling, needlessness of complicated adjustment, and capability to keep the temple turning torque constant for a long time; and that is also excellent in appearance and design.

    摘要： This invention relates to a locked screw joint for connecting two eyeglass members, particularly members of a closing block or a hinge of an eyeglass frame. A bore is provided with screw threads at one end and is provided at its other end with an abutment for the head of a hinge screw, which abutment consists of a flat surface or of a counterbore. The locked screw joint can be opened and reconnected, as is required in the manufacture and use of eyeglass frames. This is accomplished in that a conical elevation surrounding the bore is provided on the abutment surface for the screw head, the inner edge of the shank of the screw has a conical constriction under the screw head and as the shank is screwed in the conical elevation is deformed to extend into and is locked in the constriction.

    摘要： The invention relates to a bearing screw including a cylindrical shank and a screw threaded end portion in which at least part of the shank has a diameter which is less than the over-all diameter of the threaded end portion and this part of the shank is provided with a sleeve of synthetic resin. The part of the shank which carries the sleeve preferably has a diameter which is substantially equal to the root diameter of the threaded end portion while the maximum diameter of the sleeve is preferably substantially equal to the over-all diameter of the threaded end portion. The invention also relates to a spectacle frame hinge in which a bearing screw having a sleeve of synthetic resin arranged on its shank is used as a hinge pin. In such arrangement the threaded end portion of the screw is screwed into a threaded hole formed in an outer ear of the interfitting ears of the hinge knuckles while the shank of the screw with the sleeve thereon passes through plain holes in the other ears. Preferably the maximum diameter of the sleeve is substantially equal to the diameter of these plain holes.
