摘要： A first connector assembly may be connectable to a second connector assembly using a sliding attachment process, in which a front portion of the first connector assembly is inserted into an end of a slot in the second connector assembly and slides laterally along the slot until electrical contacts on the two connector assemblies are aligned. Electrical contacts of the first connector assembly may be biased proud to make contact with recessed electrical contacts in the second connector assembly. A retraction mechanism may be provided to retract the electrical contacts of the first connector assembly during lateral sliding. An interlock mechanism may be provided to prevent unwanted operation of the retraction mechanism.

摘要： A sleeve for use in an assembly for coupling a wristworn device to a first end of a strap. The sleeve has a first end dimensioned to be received in the recess in the inner face of the first lug of a wristworn device, an inner cavity dimensioned to receive therein the first end of a conventional spring bar, and a retractor coupled to the sleeve for urging the first end of the spring bar towards the second end of the spring bar. The second end of the spring bar is coupled to the second lug, the spring bar is coupled to the strap, the first end of the spring bar is positioned in the inner cavity of the sleeve and the first end of the sleeve is coupled to the first lug. A removable retractor for use with a spring bar, which allows for the use of a plurality of spring bars and therefore, lends itself to widespread use and retrofitting of an assembly that couples a strap to a wristworn device, is also provided.

摘要： A pivot assembly for connecting a rotating body and a base includes a groove formed on the base, a support section formed on the rotating body, and two pivot bolts. The pivot bolts are inserted into a hole penetrating the support section from two sides of the support section respectively so as to cover a front end of each pivot bolt in the hole and expose a back end of each pivot bolt in a recess formed above the support section. The support section is inserted into the groove so that the hole corresponds to the cavity. Then, a plug is plugged into the recess to hold the back end of pivot bolts so that the pivot bolts can rotate smoothly in the cavities.

摘要： An improved connector assembly for securing a watch band to the casing of a wrist watch is provided wherein the connector assembly is a telescoping spring-biased pin assembly comprising an elongated, tubular first member having an elongated slot provided in a side portion thereof; a first post member secured to one end of the tubular first member and positionable within a socket in the watch casing; a spring disposed within the tubular first member; an elongated second member positionable within the enlongated tubular first member and biased outwardly from the tubular first member by the spring, the elongated second member being adapted to be positioned within a second socket in the watch casing which is aligned with the first socket of the watch casing; and a pick engaging surface formed on the second member for engagement with a pick inserted through the elongated slot in the first tubular member so that the second member can be moved to a retracted position within the first tubular member by the pick for selectively removing or securing the watch band to the watch by the pin assembly. The watch band for use with the above-described connector assembly is provided with tubular links disposed on each hand of the watch band, the tubular links each having an elongated slot formed in one side portion thereof which is aligned with the elongated slot of the elongated tubular first member so that the pick can be positioned there through for engagement with the pick engaging surface formed on the elongated second member of the connector assembly.

摘要： A manually operable pin for a wrist watch band comprising a pair of hollow, tubular members in telescopic relation. The members have extending pintles at their outer ends for engaging the watch bail openings. The inner member has a longitudinal slot spaced from the inner end. The outer member has a manually engageable tab extending upwardly adjacent its inner end. Spaced from the tab, a portion of the body extends inwardly into the slot on the inner member to permit relative telescopic movement within the limits of the slot. A coil spring is mounted within the members to normally bias the members in extended position. To lock the pin to a watch bail after it has been inserted in the end of a watch band, the pintle on the inner member is placed into one bail opening. The tab is manually moved against the action of the spring to shorten the pivot pin and allow the pintle on the outer member to be inserted in the other watch bail opening. The pivot pin is removable in the same manner, by manually engaging the tab and telescoping the members to shorten and remove the pin. No tool is necessary to insert or remove the pivot pin.
