摘要： Apparatus and methods for attachment and detachment of watch straps are provided. The apparatus and methods of the present invention may be used to attach a strap to and detach a strap from a watch having a strap attached by a compressible spring bar. In some embodiments, the invention may include a tool for attaching and detaching the strap that has a base and a blade. The base may support the watch and the blade may protrude from the base to compress the spring bar and release it from the body of the watch. The blade may have a notch for engaging the spring bar.

摘要： A tool kit is provided for enabling easy removal and attachment of a watch strap or band to a watch using spring bar type connectors. The tool kit comprises a work table and one or more tools which are stored in compartments in the work table and held releasably therein by detent means. The work table includes a watch support pad on which the watch is positioned for removal and attachment of the strap or band with one of the tools, the pad being made of rubber or other suitable material so as not to harm the watch finish. The work table also includes a pintle-compressing member in the form of a generally upright plate-like member having a first side wall and a recessed second side wall connected together at one end by a narrow end wall whose thickness is selected to compress a pintle of the spring bar connector when the plate-like member is positioned between a free watch case lug and a free end of the connector with the other end of the connector being engaged against the other watch case lug. The recess in the second side wall extends toward and terminates at the end wall and is designed to receive the free pintle of the spring bar connector and guide it into engagement with the free watch case lug to complete attachment of the watch strap and connector to the lugs. The tools stored in the work table may be used to both remove and attach a watch strap or band to a watch. A cover member fits over the work table and is configured to capture the tools when stored in the storage compartments to prevent tool loss.

摘要： The crown tightening tool can be carried as an accessory by a user of a wristwatch and the user can always perform the tightening of the crown. A crown tightening tool 10A is constituted by an engaging part 18A which can be engaged with a crown 5 projected from a watch body 3 of a wristwatch 1, and a handle part 11A which is engaged with the engaging part 18A and rotates the engaging part 18A. On one end of the engaging part 18A, a fitting recess 182 is formed and can be engaged with a groove formed on outer circumferential surface of the crown 5, and on other and, a fitting recess is formed and can be engaged with the handle part 11A. The handle part 11A is formed in long pin shape, and a slender plane part 112 is formed on the center part partially, and a knurling treatment part 111 for skid prevention is formed on nearly whole circumference. Further on one end of the handle part 11A, a small hole 113 is formed and a neck string 19 can be inserted in the small hole 119 thereby the crown tightening tool 10A is used as an accessory.

摘要： A machine for making steel wire springs has a tray on which are mounted forming tools slidable towards the center of the tray, means for moving the wire perpendicular to the tray, and means for clamping and cutting the wire. The means for moving the wire comprises two alternately operable clamps, one fixed and the other movable, and further includes a cylindrical member rotating in a fixed member integral with the tray. The movable member has an eccentric opening therein for the passage of the wire coacting with an eccentric opening in the fixed member and means are provided for rotating the movable member in such a way as to clamp in a first phase of operation and then cut the wire even with the opening of the fixed member in a second phase of operation.
