    摘要: There is provided a television broadcast program recording system including a television receiver and a recorder. The television receiver obtains a DST data indicating whether or not DST is currently applied, and detects a start and end of a DST application to a current time based on the obtained DST data. When the start or end of the DST application is detected, the television receiver transmits a newest electronic program list to the recorder. The recorder receives the electronic program list, and then compares a broadcast time data of a broadcast program in the memory with that included in the received electronic program list. As a result of this, when they are not identical with each other, the recorder changes the broadcast time data of the above broadcast program stored in the memory to the broadcast time data of the above broadcast program included in the electronic program list.

    摘要: A low cost, remotely resettable wall clock or the like is provided, which is driven by a conventional quartz crystal oscillator system, for example. On a once a day basis, a reset signal is received from a local broadcast station, which serves to reset the clock to a predetermined reset time, typically 02:00:00 am. The system includes means for automatic startup of the clock without setting of the hands, eliminating the need for mechanical reset facilities. The control system includes means for automatically advancing or retarding the clock reset by one hour, to accommodate the beginning or the end of day light saving time. The economical design of the clock system enables it to be suitable for household as well as commercial use.

    摘要: A clock adjusting method and an electronic equipment using the method are disclosed in which a clock portion of an electronic equipment is correctly and simply adjusted by use of time information in broadcasting waves. In the case where a time indicated by the clock portion of the electronic equipment is “0:00” a.m. or after “0:00” and before “23:00”, the time of the clock portion is set at a reference time based on the time information. In the other case, the judgement is made of whether the time of the clock portion indicates a time of the next day as compared with the reference time or a time of the preceding day as compared with the reference time. When the time of the clock portion indicates a time of the next day as compared with the reference time, the time of the clock portion is set at the reference time while a day of the week indicated by the clock portion is put back one day. When the time of the clock portion indicates a time of the preceding day as compared with the reference time, the time of the clock portion is set at the reference time while the day of the week of the clock portion is put forward one day.

    摘要: An electronic watch including a watch circuit and display is provided which additionally includes an automatic time indication modifier. The modifier comprises a receiver, a filter for passing only that component of the signal from the receiver which has the same frequency as a time announcement signal, a pulse height discriminator for converting an output signal of the filter into a bi-level signal in accordance with the magnitude of the output signal above a threshold level, a time announcement pattern discrimination circuit responsive to the bi-level signal from the discriminator to determine the presence of a time announcement pattern on the basis of the duration of and the time interval between the bi-level signals, and a "seconds" indication modifying and control circuit for modifying a "seconds" indication of the watch in response to an output signal from the discrimination circuit.
