    摘要: A machining process determination method in automatic programming for automatically creating NC data for a lathe. The method includes storing machining processes in a memory in a machining sequence, reading the previously stored machining processes out of the memory in order after entry of a blank profile (BP) and part profile (PF); automatically discriminating based on the blank profile and final part profile whether the read machining process is needed to obtain a final part; when it is not required, performing identical discrimination processing upon reading the next machining process out of the memory, and when it is required, determining a cutting domain (A1, A2, A3) and cutting direction of the machining process; and thereafter creating NC data upon reading subsequent machining processes out of the memory and performing identical processing.

At least a portion of the memory in which the data relating to the parameter of the workpiece is stored, is configured as a shared memory so as to allow the machine control to immediately retrieve and use the stored data relating to the parameter of the workpiece. The controller has particular utility for use in controlling a honing process and a gaging process, which can be in-process or post-process, and which can be used for bore sizing and other parameters.

    摘要: An automatic programming apparatus is provided to generate a NC program for processing a roll having a cylindrical part and axle parts. The apparatus includes a roll-profile setting module, a process-condition setting module, a process-order setting module and an automatic programming module. The roll-profile setting module establishes dimensional values of the roll between an operator and the apparatus at every locational code, while the process-condition setting module establishes a plurality of process conditions at every process code, interactively. The process-order setting module combines the locational codes with the process codes at every process order, optionally and interactively, so that the process order of the cylindrical part and the axle parts is set while allocating any one of the process conditions. The automatic programming module generates the NC program for executing a series of roll process, on the basis of the combination of the process code and the locational code set by the process-order setting module.

    摘要: A stitch data producing system scans an original pattern by an image scanner to acquire image data and segments the original pattern into a plurality of embroidering regions and determines distances from the periphery of a set of pixels included in each embroidering region to each of the pixels, i.e., the depths of the pixels by a CPU. The stitch data producing system produces stitch data suitable for embroidering a comparatively large, substantially circular embroidering region when the sum of the distances is large and produces stitch data suitable for embroidering an elongate embroidering region when the sum of the distances is small. Thus, the stitch data producing system automatically produces stitch data for carrying out a stitching method, such as a satin stitching method, a fill stitching method, a running stitching method or such, suitable for embroidering each embroidering region.

In at least some implementations, an object profile is generated by measuring attributes of an object, such as its dimensions. The object profile can correspond to a data representation of object attributes. The object profile is employed to determine a machining path for machining the object based on a particular design and/or pattern. In at least some implementations, an alignment guide is generated that enables an object to be positioned for machining by a machining device. The alignment guide, for instance, can correspond to a particular position in a coordinate space. Aligning an object with the alignment guide includes moving the object (e.g., rotationally and/or translationally) to align with the alignment guide. When aligned with the alignment guide, the object can be machined according to a specified object profile and/or pattern.
