    摘要: An apparatus and method for automatically generating and adjusting fuzzy reasoning, i.e. logic, rules based on changes in the reasoning error. The apparatus includes a fuzzy reasoning section that performs fuzzy logic based on the fuzzy reasoning rules stored in the a rule memory. The parameters of the fuzzy reasoning rules are adjusted in a parameter tuning section based on the output of the fuzzy reasoning section and predetermined input and output data. A reasoning error calculation section calculates a reasoning error and a change in the reasoning error based on the results from the fuzzy reasoning section and the predetermined input and output data. The reasoning error calculation section also disables the parameter tuning section when the calculated reasoning error is less than a predetermined first threshold value. When the calculated reasoning error is greater than or equal to the predetermined threshold value and the change in the reasoning error is less than a predetermined second threshold value, a rule generation section generates one or more fuzzy reasoning rules and regenerates the fuzzy reasoning rules stored in the rule memory based on the new fuzzy reasoning rule(s) so that optimal fuzzy reasoning rules are obtained.

    摘要: A fuzzy evaluation and modification system evaluates and modifies the fuzzy knowledge in a fuzzy reasoning system. The fuzzy knowledge includes fuzzy rules, each described in an "if . . . , then . . ." format, and membership functions defining meanings of propositions described in the "if . . . , then" parts. Results of the fuzzy reasoning are monitored and compared with real data of a plurality of real test cases to evaluate the fuzzy knowledge. An influence power of each of the fuzzy rules with respect to the fuzzy reasoning results is attained for all the cases. Superpositional display of real data on the membership functions of the "if . . ." part and reasoning results on the membership functions of the "then . . ." part indicates a relationship between the membership function and the real data. The system includes units for obtaining a grade of rule representing adequacy of the fuzzy rule based on the membership functions associated with the "if" part, attaining defuzzification values of the membership functions related to the "then" part and obtaining differences between the defuzzification values and the real data. A relationship between the grade of rule and the difference thus obtained between the defuzzification values and the real data is outputted to an output unit. The fuzzy knowledge is modified by an operator in association with the output.

    摘要: In a fuzzy control apparatus in which a rule is capable of being changed during operation, a fuzzy reasoning output which prevails immediately prior to a rule change is stored when a rule change is made, and a fuzzy-control output is generated by combining, after the rule change, the stored fuzzy reasoning output which prevailed immediately prior to the rule change and a fuzzy reasoning output which prevails following the rule change. The ratio of the combination is altered in such a manner that, with the passage of time from the moment at which the rule change is made, there is a gradual decrease in a percentage of the fuzzy reasoning output which prevailed immediately prior to the rule change, and a gradual increase in a percentage of the fuzzy reasoning output which prevails following the rule change, in the fuzzy-control output. Upon passage of a predetermined time from the moment at which the rule change is made, the fuzzy reasoning output which prevails following the rule change is outputted as the fuzzy-control output. As a result, a sudden change in the output at the time of a rule change is prevented so that a smooth changeover can be carried out.
