The sensor employs a conventional ball and tube accelerometer which supplies an electrical signal when subjected to a deceleration of force equal to or greater than a preset limit. All of the electrical connections of the sensor are disposed in the interior thereof, and the interior is sealed from the operating environment of the vehicle, thus enhancing reliability and minimizing accidental damage thereto.

摘要： A reed switch holder assembly for detecting the passage of a magnet adjacent the assembly. The assembly includes a reed switch and first and second terminal elements each including a lead-receiving ferrule and a portion for mechanical and electrical connection to a conductor. The ferrule has a spring finger for holding a lead of the reed switch which finger includes a portion extending transversely from the remainder of the ferrule. The reed switch holder of the assembly includes a base of one-piece molded thermoplastic construction and a cover of one-piece molded thermoplastic construction. The base and cover include a latching mechanism for holding the base and cover assembly which, in their assembled condition, define a central cavity for holding the envelope of the reed switch and a pair of side cavities for receiving the leads of the reed switch and the ferrules of the terminal elements. One side cavity extends to a first end of the holder and the other side cavity extends to the holder second end. The holder also has a window extending transversely from each side cavity for holding the finger portion of the corresponding ferrule. The holder also includes a mount for attaching the assembly to a mounting wall.

摘要： In a temperature switch according to the present invention, a base member made of an insulative resin and a switch configuration are integrated into one body with insert molding, and accommodated within a housing. A terminal fixing part of the base member blocks an opening of the housing vertically to an interior surface of the housing, and a sealing member seals the opening of the housing from an exterior surface of the housing. A first external connection terminal (a second external connection terminal is similar) prevents externally pulling and pressing forces applied to the terminal from applying to an internal configuration in a state where a portion formed by being bent into two stages composed of a horizontal part continuous with a tip, a vertical part, and a horizontal part is buried in the terminal fixing part. A stage difference part that is flattened and formed outside the terminal, and cutout parts on a side absorb a distortion caused by external forces applied to the terminal in upper, lower, right and left directions. Internal extension parts, and an external extension part strengthen the fixing of a position of the terminal fixing part.

摘要： A switch for use in transformer tap changing is modular in design, having standardized fixed contact units mounted in alignment on a base. Each contact unit has an electrical contact embedded in an insulating body, with a hollow bore formed through the insulating body and the embedded electrical contact. A cylindrical movable contactor having spaced contact bands is mounted on a shaft to be driven through the hollow bores of the fixed contact units between positions at which its contact bands engage the electrical contacts within adjacent fixed contact units. The electrical contacts of the fixed contact units are connected to different taps of the transformer to allow the transformer turns ratio to be adjusted by changing the position of the movable contactor. The drive shaft is connected by a mechanism to a handle mounted outside the tank of the transformer that can be operated to move the movable contact a selected distance to change the tap connections to the transformer.
