    摘要: An inertia switch includes a stack of a base plate and a base cover. The base plate provided inside a liquid storage chamber and a sensing chamber communicating with a liquid storage chamber. The liquid storage chamber contains working fluid, and the sensing chamber equipped with a sensing electrode extending to and connected to an external equipment that tend to interact with the inertia switch. The electricity-conductive liquid is utilized as a medium for inertia detection. Furthermore, by the width, depth and angle of the flow channel design, when the liquid material flows into the sensing chamber through the channel after a time delay, a sensing signal is obtained by the sensing electrodes through a change of a resistance value or a capacitance value to actuate the switch. The inertia switch has a simple structure and is low cost.

The invention relates still to emergency brake lamps using the emergency-deceleration condition transducers, the turning on/off of the lamps will be carried out automatically without effects by driver mistaking operating, so the accident of vehicle striking from behind can be effectively avoided.

    摘要: A shock sensor comprises a housing defining an interior space. The space includes a cylindrical side surface and an end surface, the surfaces being formed of an electrically conductive material. An insert is positioned in the space and includes an electrically conductive support surface which defines a recess facing the conductive end surface. A volume of mercury is contained in the recess. The support surface is wetted to the liquid, and the end and side surfaces are not wetted to the liquid, so that the liquid moves into electrical contact with the end surface and/or side surface in response to shocks and is thereafter restored.

    摘要: A hollow hermetically sealed sphere has sets of insulated conducting segments forming terminals of a normally open switch. A nonconducting flotation media partially fills the sphere. An insulating toroid, of lower density than the flotation media, freely floats thereon. The toroidal inside walls insolates a disc-shaped, conductive film which floats on the flotation media, from an outer annular conducting film of like nature which provides an electrical connection with at least one of the conducting segments. The segments are externally interconnected to form a plus set and a minus set. The shape and interconnection of the segments is arranged such that the annular conducting film will not contact a segment of the plus and minus set at the same time and such that the disc conducting film will contact a segment of the minus set when the annular film is contacting a segment of the plus set and vice versa. The freedom of orientation of the sphere is limited by the shape and area of the segments and level of the flotation media.

When the vehicle acceleration rate exceeds the preset threshold level, the switch is actuated to its ON state and the indicator is energized for presenting an indication of excessive vehicle acceleration rate and increased fuel consumption.
