    摘要: A compression connector including a tubular connector body with a through bore, a flange, a leading end and a trailing end for connecting ground conductors to a load center. A nose extends from the flange to the leading end and a trailing body portion extends to the trailing end. A boss on the connector body includes a threaded bore and an opening on each side of the boss. A screw within the threaded bore of the boss holds a clip to the connector body. The clip includes two legs with arcuate ends that bisect the through bore. Insertion of a grounding electrode conductor into the through bore and tightening of the clip enables a secure connection of the conductor grounding electrode to the connector body. A threaded nose and a locknut are provided on the compression connector to facilitate attachment of the leading end of the connector body to a knockout aperture in a load center.

After foresaid are combined, the conducting filament of a transmission line can be tightly clamped by the clamping piece by rotating the screwing element to move the clamping piece upward, ensuring enhanced signal transmission.

    摘要: A connector for a coaxial cable including a base member having forward and rearward ends and a central bore into which the cable is inserted. A stop is provided in the bore for limiting the insertion of the cable. A transverse screw secures the cable in the bore when at the stop. A housing having forward and rearward ends surrounds a plug connector. The plug connector includes a signal conductor having a needle like projection extending rearward and a ground contact insulated from the signal conductor and including a knife edge projection extending rearward. The housing and base member are threadably connected to each other so that as they are drawn together during assembly, the needle-like projection and the knife edge projection extend into the bore of the base member rearward of the stop and engage the coaxial cable in the bore of the base member.

    摘要: A connector assembly suitable for use with armored cables is disclosed. The coupling comprises a substantially rigid electrically conductive sleeve that is received over an end of a cable and is retained thereto by one or more set screws that form an electrical connection from the armor of a cable to the sleeve. A contact holder is received within the end of the sleeve and a substantially rigid jacket is molded over the sleeve and a portion of the cable received therein. A slip ring is placed around the sleeve between a shoulder of the jacket and a flange formed in the end of the sleeve. The slip ring has a groove formed in its exterior surface that mates with a retaining ridge formed in the interior of a coupling nut that is received over the sleeve. A secure, sturdy and reliable ground connection is formed through the coupling from the armor of the cable through the set screw to the sleeve and slip ring received thereover and finally to the coupling nut of the connector assembly.
