    摘要: A radio receiving circuit provided with a search tuning mechanism. A broadcasting radiowave signal is received during a search tuning operation, and a shift amount of frequency produced in frequency of an intermediate frequency amplifier output is experimentally determined within an inertia self-travelling time interval search tuning mechanism due to the mechanical inertia thereof from the moment at which a drive force applied to the search tuning mechanism is interrupted to the time when the mechanism temporarily positively stops its function. The drive force applied to the search tuning mechanism is interrupted at a frequency deviated by the shift amount in advance from a center frequency of a pass band width of the intermediate frequency amplifier circuit, whereby after the mechanism has self-travelled due to its own mechanical inertia force and when tuned to the center frequency of the received radiowave signal, the search tuning operation is suspended.

    摘要: An intercarrier television receiver is provided with a motor-driven signal seeker coupled to the tuner of the receiver and operative to continuously tune the receiver until stopped by a control signal. The control signal is generated by monitoring and comparing the amplitudes of the picture subcarrier and sound subcarrier signals produced by the IF circuits of the receiver, and by using said comparison to generate a control signal only when the amplitude of the picture subcarrier signal is higher than the amplitude of the sound subcarrier signal by a predetermined ratio. Generation of the control signal interrupts the operation of the signal-seeker at points of correct tuning in a predetermined television frequency spectrum. Provision is also made to mute the picture- and sound-producing channels of the receiver until the signal seeker has tuned the receiver to a point of correct signal reception.

    摘要: Radio receiving apparatus having an adjustable search tuner operable over a predetermined band of frequencies, and drive means for moving the tuner at a relatively slow rate for search tuning in one direction of travel, and at a relatively rapid rate for repositioning in the opposite direction. The drive means comprises a tuner drive shaft, a unidirectionally rotatable motor, a lever, and first and second solenoid means coupled with the lever, each selectively energizable to rock the lever in one or the other direction. First and second drive wheel means of different diameters are driven with the motor and are mounted for rotation on the lever. Energization of the first solenoid means rocks the lever in one direction to effect slow tuner drive coupling between the first drive wheel means and the tuner drive shaft. Energization of the second solenoid means rocks the lever in the other direction to effect rapid tuner drive coupling between the second drive wheel means and the tuner drive shaft.

    摘要: A device for automatically tuning a channel on a broadcast receiver which has a right or left direction indicating circuit operated by closing a start push-button switch, the indicating circuit operating a differential amplifier circuit which in turn operates an electric motor which turns a variable condenser. The device further comprises a coarse tuning pulse signal generating circuit to generate a pulse signal when the condenser is near the tuning point, and a coarse tuning bistable multivibrator which is switched by a pulse signal from the coarse tuning pulse signal generating circuit to shut off the power to the right or left direction indicating circuit. When the indicating circuit is switched, a sinusoidal signal from a discriminator is applied to an input of the differential amplifying circuit. The device also has a switching circuit for de-energizing the differential amplifying circuit after the fine tuning is completed by the sinusoidal signal and for delaying for a predetermined time a further output of the coarse tuning bistable multivibrator to enable manual tuning.
