    摘要: A multifunction device includes a scanner and a printer disposed below the scanner. The scanner includes a support surface configured to support a document, and a scanning unit configured to scan the document supported by the support surface. The scanning unit includes a sensor including a plurality of reading elements arranged in a main scanning direction, and a moving member holding the sensor and configured to move in a sub-scanning direction. The scanner is connected to the printer pivotably, about a first axis extending in a first direction, between a first position at which the scanner conceals an upper portion of the printer, and a second position at which the scanner exposes the upper portion of the printer. In response to the moving member moving in the sub-scanning direction, a responsive mechanism shifts the lock mechanism between an operative state in which the lock mechanism restricts pivoting of the scanner relative to the printer, and an inoperative state in which the lock mechanism permits pivoting of the scanner relative to the printer.

The portable image capturing device includes, an image capturing unit, a display unit that displays a photographed image and a control unit. The lighting apparatus includes, a base unit including an image-capturing-device mounting face on which the portable image capturing device is mounted to photograph the medium installation face, a mirror to reflect the image displayed on the display unit, and a mirror detector that detects that the mirror is arranged. The control unit corrects a distortion in the image displayed on the display unit when the mirror is not detected by the mirror detector, and corrects the distortion and performs vertical inversion of the image on the display unit when the mirror is detected by the mirror detector. Corrected image is displayed on the display unit.

    摘要: A clearing section includes a counter for measuring a period up to the reset of contents set by means of an operation panel to initial values. If a position discriminating section discriminates that the operation panel is at a first position, the clearing section starts measuring the period by means of the counter from the first entry made to the operation panel. When a count value reaches a predetermined value, the clearing section executes an automatic clear processing to reset the contents set by means of the operation panel to the initial values. On the other hand, the clearing section cancels the execution of the automatic clear processing if the position discriminating section discriminates that the operation panel is at a second position.
