摘要： An accessory platform for fishing rods, light bars, flag masts and similar accessories often used on small boats and watercraft is secured to a mooring cleat by means of an underslung clamping bar having a transversely positioned anchor finger or fork. The anchor finger is positioned to penetrate the arch between cleat legs. The clamping bar is then raised against the cleat arch bight by rotation of a suspension screw.

摘要： A holder for transporting one or more fishing rods having first and second parallel rod supports, spaced notches in the top of the first rod support, corresponding spaced openings in the second rod support, a pair of similarly sized clamping bars each pivotally affixed at one end to opposite ends of the first rod support, compression material covering the notches in the first support, a constant support mechanism connecting each clamping bar to the first rod support, and a latch releasably securing the clamping bars to the first rod support. Fishing poles are positioned with the tips in the openings of the second rod support and the handles in corresponding notches in the first rod support, with the clamping bar maintained in an open position at any angle by the constant support mechanism. The clamping bar is closed with the compression material compressing around and securing the handle within the notch, and secured closed with the latch.

摘要： A harness-like fishing gear holder vest upon which various pouches are mounted for storing fishing supplies and caught fish. The harness includes two shoulder straps on which are attached six pockets, three on the front of each straps. The two straps are attached to a waist belt, which has two additional pouches attached to the sides. A chest strap is provided between the two shoulder straps. Two adjustable rod-holding rings for holding a fishing rod are attached to the straps. This enables the user's hands to be free for performing various other activities. A detachable line cutter and a snap hook are placed on the waist belt by looped snap bands. Pouches are attached to the shoulder straps by clamp-like clips. The device is fully adjustable, fastened with VELCRO belt and shoulder adjustment. The vest is worn by an angler while wading in water up to his chest.

摘要： A simple and easy to manufacture support device for fishing rods having a lower contiguous member with a lower inwardly bent surface being substantially concave with an approximately 20 degree concave bend. An upper member projects upwardly from the top of the contiguous member and has a cavity with a bushing for tightly receiving the butt end of a fishing rod thereon. Wrapped substantially about the entire lower contiguous member is a cushion sleeve that both protects the contiguous member and cushions and reduces discomfort and pain from the body of the fisherman contacting substantially any portion of the hard surfaced lower contiguous member. Also rounded end caps can further reduce discomfort and reduce pain when the device is being used. The lower concave bent surface of the contiguous member can rest comfortably against any body surface such as the abdomen, the sides the arms, the under arms, the armpits, the thigh, and the crotch/groin area of the fisherman. The bent surface allows the weight of the rod to be evenly distributed across the body engaging area of the fisherman without putting all of the weight of the rod on one small body area. The device can be easily and quickly installed and taken off various sized fishing rods, and does not require installment time, extra parts, and adjustments. The support device can additionally be used as a stand for the rod when not being used while the fisherman is fishing. Other versions of the device can include a funnel shaped opening for receiving the butt end of the fishing rods, and having the upper member being substantially parallel to the base members. Furthermore, a rack can be used to store the devices when not being used.

摘要： A fishing harness adapter which permits the conversion of a fishing harness assembly having dual reel attachment straps into a single reel attachment strap unit, comprising a harness lead assembly, and a reel-eye hub assembly which mates to a fishing reel. The reel-eye hub assembly possesses eye receptacles which receive the eyes of the fishing reel therein. Set screws are then inserted into bores which extend through said eye receptacles, such that said set screws also penetrate the eyes which are positioned within the eye receptacles, thus securing the reel-eye hub assembly firmly to the reel. The dual reel attachment straps of the fishing harness assembly are joined together by a connector affixed to an end of a harness lead line. The opposite end of the harness lead line has a quick release attachment mechanism affixed thereat, which is then secured to a hub flange which protrudes from the reel-eye hub assembly. Accordingly, the two reel attachment straps of the fishing harness assembly are joined into one unit via the harness lead assembly, which is then connected, via a single quick release attachment mechanism to the reel-eye hub assembly which is firmly secured to the fishing reel.
