    摘要： A box having a container space for retaining box contents is provided. The box is constructed of a foldable sheet material. The box includes first and second side panels, first and second edge panels, and first and second end flaps. All flaps and panels are foldable about associated fold lines to effect a box having sides and seal ends which together define the container space. A removable strip portion is provided on either an end flap or an edge panel to provide access to the container space. The removable strip portion is defined by interior and exterior partial cuts scored into the foldable material, including a plurality of aligned interrupted exterior cuts that are disposed for an extent coincidentally with an associated fold line. The removable strip portion thus constructed helps ensure folding of the associated flap or panel about the intended fold line while maintaining the strength and integrity of the folded edge.

    摘要： A combination employing a disposable mold for making a test sample of set concrete or the like comprising a unitary plastic piece that includes a closed bottom end, a cylindrical, tubular wall extending substantially perpendicular to the bottom end and connected therewith and terminating in an open end and an annular lip connected with the cylindrical, tubular wall adjacent the open end; a locking, moisture-proof lid adapted to snap into place; and a carrying tong adapted to removably slide into engagement with said annular lip so as to carry said mold and any material in sample therewithin. Also disclosed are method of obtaining the concrete sample and the capping composition, each of which use the disposable mold. Preferably, the mold has a removable strip such as a scored stripping line or a tear away strip to facilitate removal from about the test sample. Precautions are taken to ensure that all diameters are within the tolerances allowed by the American Society For Testing Materials (ASTM) Specification C-470. Preferably, the tubular, cylindrical wall has a textured surface on its outside for receiving a written legend, such as identification of the core sample.

    摘要： The carton incorporates a reclosing device and is constructed to minimize paperboard waste. The reclosure device includes a reclosure panel hinged to the carton top panel which overlies and is glued to the front panel at its lower corners to seal the carton. Perforated lines extending to a central tab separate the main portion of the reclosure panel from its corners for opening the carton. The front panel has a slot to accept the tab for reclosure. The front, back and side panels are serially connected along parallel fold lines. The top and reclosure panels are serially connected and extend transversely from the back panel. Bottom forming flaps, top side flaps, and the top of the front panel are formed so that two carton blanks, oriented 180* to each other, can be cut from one section of paperboard with minimum waste.

    摘要： The carton and package provides for a new type of closure which may take several different forms, each of which incorporates a coated paperboard lid having a heat-sealable plastic coating such as polyethylene for example. Wherein a 180* bend is made to provide an outer edge of the lid which is heat-sealed together to provide strength to support a divergent flange or edge which is used in accomplishing a closing and/or sealing of the carton or package. In one form, this edge provides a snap-on operation for mechanically securing the lid on a tray by an interlocking relation between the horizontal flange on the top of the tray and the lid. In another form of the invention, to provide the mechanical securing the edge of the lid is heat-sealed to the underside of the lip of the tray while the body of the paperboard lid is being heat-sealed on the top side of the lip of the tray. In both instances, an adhesive seal is used in addition to the heat seal which melts at temperatures below 212* F. and preferably at about 170*-180* F.
