    摘要： A papermaker's fabric and a method of forming a papermaker's fabric, for installation in a papermaking machine. The papermaker's fabric having a plurality of cross-machine, a plurality of machine directional yarns, and a plurality of heat shrunk joints connecting ends of either the machine directional yarns or the cross machine directional yarns to form and continuous loop of fabric. The papermaker's fabric is formed by providing a fixture for securing a plurality of heat shrink tubing sections. Two or more corresponding yarns of the papermaker's fabric are inserted into each of the heat shrink tubing sections and heat is applied to the heat shrink tubing. Upon application of the heat the heat shrink tubing reduces its size to form a tight joint between two yarns inserted therein.

    摘要： A pulley belt for emergency replacement of a ruptured auto fan or water pump pulley belt in which the pulley belt ends are firmly interconnected to form a closed loop thereof by using wedge blocks to engage an external length of cable molded integral during fabrication of the pulley belt. This manner of connecting the pulley belt ends is not only readily achieved without tools, but is improved strengthwise during power transmission service of the pulley belt by the pulling force exerted on the cable.

    摘要： A connection for the ends of the supporting straps of an endless bar belt conveyor, especially for agricultural machines, the bars of which are connected to the supporting straps by connecting members such as rivets and screws. Within the region of the two ends of each supporting strap there is provided a connecting member which engages the inner side of the respective adjacent supporting strap and is connected to the supporting strap by means of connecting elements such as rivets or preferably screws. The connecting member comprises a pull-resistant flexible layer which extends in the longitudinal direction of the supporting strap and has a thickness less than the thickness of the supporting straps.
