    摘要： A traction enhancing device for use with a tire on a vehicle to increase traction of the tire during inclement weather is provided. A first traction enhancing member has a predetermined length for mounting around a tire of a vehicle in a position offset from a central axis of the tire. A second traction enhancing member has a predetermined length for mounting around a tire of a vehicle in a position offset from a central axis of the tire and being spaced apart and substantially parallel to the first traction enhancing member. A first connecting member has a first end affixed to said first traction enhancing member and a second end affixed to said second traction enhancing member for securing said first and second traction enhancing members together. The first connecting member is substantially orthogonally positioned relative to the first and second traction enhancing members and is disposed on a first side of the tire. A second connecting member has a first end affixed to said first traction enhancing member and a second end affixed to said second traction enhancing member for securing said first and second traction enhancing members together. The second connecting member is substantially orthogonally positioned relative to the first and second traction enhancing members and is disposed on a second side of the tire. The first and second traction enhancing members are mounted on an exterior portion extending across the tread of the tire for engagement with a road surface to increase the traction of the tire during inclement weather.

    摘要： A hand puller with a rope reel contains a body and a reel. The body includes a fixing holder, a first rotary shaft, a rotating handle, two ratchet wheels, and at least one stopping piece. The rotating handle having a pushing plate, and the first rotary shaft has two driving gears. The reel includes a seat, a second rotary shaft, two driven gears, and a chain roller. The body includes a first connecting portion with plural holes, and the seat has a second connecting portion and a plurality of apertures. The reel and the body are movably coupled together, and the second connecting portion of the reel is aligned and overlapped with the first connecting portion of the body. At least one pin is inserted into at least one of the plural holes of the first connecting portion and the plurality of apertures of the second connecting portion.

    摘要： A steel mesh system for reinforcing concrete for airport landing strips and the like, comprising at least two mesh sections, each including separate groups of spaced apart parallel steel bars positioned perpendicularly to each other and welded together at their intersection, placed side by side, and rigid brackets securing peripheral aligned rods at adjacent sides of the mesh sections together. Each bracket is substantially U-shaped defining a recess to receive the peripheral rods and includes two leg portions separated by a connecting portion. One of the leg portions of each bracket is undercut so that the opening of the recess is of smaller extent than the bottom of the recess. A set screw having a convex end extends through the free end of the other leg of the U-shaped member outwardly of the recess with respect to the center of the parallel bars positioned within the recess.
