    摘要： Messenger clamps can be formed from two messenger clamp halves. Messenger clamps and messenger clamp halves can include break away portions, which allow a messenger wire to fall when subjected to high impact forces such as a tree falling on the messenger wire. A messenger clamp half for use in forming a messenger clamp can include an inside face having a first clamping groove and a second clamping groove, and an outside face having at least one fault groove. A break away portion of the messenger clamp half can include one of the clamping grooves, and can further includes at least a portion of the fault groove.

    摘要： Anchoring arrangements for structures such as offshore towers. Wedges which fit down into spaces defined by downwardly converging surfaces fixed to the structure and to an anchor member, respectively, are held in frictional locking engagement by means of bias weights. Two sets of wedge type interlocks are provided in longitudinally displaced relationship and are arranged in reverse order so that downward bias forces on the wedges serves to provide locking against relative movement in opposite longitudinal directions.

    摘要： Disclosed is a one-piece, circularly formed resilient band having overlapping end portions. The band grips a tubular member, such as hose or fan hub, and locks the tubular member on a concentric member extending into the tubular member. The overlapping end portions of the band each has an aperture, the apertures being in register over a portion of their area and interfitting abutment surfaces are provided on the band to permit the band to be sprung or skewed into a released position by inserting and twisting a screwdriver tip in the registering band apertures. A plastic fan hub is herein disclosed as the tubular member and the fan drive shaft is the concentric member. The clamp could also be utilized as a hose clamp, on plastic blower wheel hubs and similar applications.
