摘要: A fishing hook holder for retaining, storing, and rapidly dispensing a fishing hook is disclosed. The fishing hook holder comprises a base, a plurality of slats spaced apart from each other disposed on a first side of the base, a gap formed between adjacent slats of the plurality of slats, and a biasing element disposed proximate to the plurality of slats. A backstop is disposed proximate to the biasing element. The fishing hook holder comprises a cover positioned above the biasing element and in attachment with the first side of the base. The fishing hook holder further comprises a sharp edge for cutting an object. A portion of a fishing hook is sandwiched by at least one resilient element and an interior portion of a third side opening, and a barb on the fishing hook is received by a fourth side opening on a fourth side of the base.

摘要: The pet drinking fountain allows pets to have a source of running water whenever they desire, but without having to constantly run the water. The pets can learn to press the frontal pedal of the fountain bowl to open the cover and begin the running water. Then, once the pet has finished drinking, they can release the pedal to stop the water from needlessly running and to shut the cover again for cleanliness. The pet drinking fountain is anchored to the ground to prevent the pet from moving its location. Additionally, it requires a water source and disposal to continue to provide clean water for the pet.

摘要: A pet bowl system and apparatus equipped with an immobilized base, bowls, and automated lid is described. The system employs a series of mounts to ensure that the base remains in a fixed position. The system is configured for use indoors or outdoors by conventional domesticated animals. A proximity-triggered automatic lid is present atop the base which is configured to prevent the introduction of contaminants to the contents of the bowls, as well as to prevent use of the system by unwanted animals and pests. An RFID reader is preferably disposed within the base which is configured to communicate with an RFID tag placed on the collar of the pet. The lid opens upon approach of the pet, and is closed upon departure of the pet from the system.

摘要: A system and method are provided that can detect the presence of a user such as a mammal (e.g., a horse), and fill a water basin to enable the user to consume the water. The system can detect consumption of the water in the basin and refill one or more times. After detecting that the user is no longer in the vicinity, any remaining water can be drained from the basin. In addition to detecting the presence of the user, an ID can be associated with certain users of the system to track water consumption and other metrics. This data can be gathered, stored, and provided to a server or service (e.g., in the cloud) to enable data to be logged, processed, analyzed and alerts, reports and notifications provided to entities that monitor the users, e.g., to track hydration of the users.

摘要: This disclosure provides apparatus and methods for watering livestock using a livestock waterer, a water source, and a waterer valve system for replenishing water in a water reservoir of the livestock waterer. A valve housing can be affixed to the water reservoir and coupled to a plunger. A cam can be pivotably coupled to the valve housing and one end of a float arm. A float component can be coupled to the opposite end of the float arm. Water from the water supply can enter the valve housing and exit an orifice in the valve housing along first and second side spouts. The float component can have a generally flat bottom and move vertically along with the water level within the water reservoir. As the float component moves vertically, the float arm pivots the cam. The cam can move the plunger in the valve housing to stop water flow.
