摘要: The disclosed fishing lure systems have a fishing lure, bead sleeve, and a stop that can be used in combination with a fishing line and hook. The fishing lure has a pliable body and a pre-formed hole. The bead sleeve can be fitted within the pre-formed hole with an interference fit because the pliable body expands to fit around the bead sleeve to hold it in place within the pre-formed hole. The stop is positioned on one side of the fishing lure and bead sleeve to prevent it from sliding down towards the hook or possibly over some portion of the hook. The stop can be positioned spaced apart from the hook on a fishing line so that the distance between the fishing lure and the hook remains at a desirable spacing while in use.

摘要: Various aspects disclosed relate to a fishing lure. The fishing lure includes a body portion having a longitudinal axis extending therethrough. The fishing lure further includes a tail portion and a jointed connection between the body portion and the tail portion. The body portion includes at least two biasing elements each extending from opposite sides of the body portion at an angle in a range of from about 30 degrees to about 65 degrees relative to the longitudinal axis. The at least two biasing elements are each configured to selectively contact opposed surfaces of the tail portion.

摘要: Fishing lures including a front body, a middle body, an aft body, a first wing, and a second wing. The front body has an aerodynamic and hydrodynamic profile and is positively buoyant in water. The front body extends along a longitudinal axis from a first end to a second end and extends along a lateral axis from a first lateral side to a second lateral side. The middle body extends along the longitudinal axis from a third end proximate the second end to a fourth end. The aft body is coupled to the middle body proximate the fourth end and defines a hook opening. The hook opening receives a hook projecting beyond an outer surface of the aft body. The first wing and the second wing are coupled to the front body and disposed on the first lateral side and the second lateral side, respectively.

摘要: Soft bait lures emulating a fish are provided. The lure can provide at least one channel within at least one of the exterior surfaces of the tail. Methods for manufacturing a soft bait fishing lure are also provided. The methods can include removing one or more portions of one or more exterior surfaces of the tail to define one or more channels within the one or more surfaces of the tail. Methods for luring fish using a soft bait fishing lure are also provided. The methods can include channeling at least some of the water through one or more channels within the surface of the tail of the fishing lure.

摘要: Lure apparatus for fishing and associated methods are disclosed. In some embodiments, the lure apparatus includes (1) a head portion; (2) a tail portion; and (3) an optional weight portion. The head portion and the tail portion are operably engaged. The head portion has a center opening, which enables a fishing line or wire to pass through. The optional weight portion is positioned inside the head portion to adjust the weight of the overall lure apparatus. The head portion has two side openings. The tail portion has two arms, each of which has a protrusion configured to be positioned in a corresponding one of the two side openings of the head portion. Once the two protrusions are positioned in the side openings, the two protrusions engage with the head portion and restrain the tail portion from moving relatively to the head portion.

摘要: The oscillating fishing lure is a fishing lure comprising a jig having a body with a longitudinal axis, an uppermost surface, a rearward surface, at least one hook, said first hook including a shank and a hook end, said shank being surrounded by and protruding rearwardly from said body, and said hook end being spaced rearwardly behind said rearward surface of said body along said longitudinal axis of said body; a blade having an edge proximal said jig body; and a joining mechanism placed between said body and said blade, wherein at least a first portion of the joining mechanism is mechanically affixed to said body and at least one other portion is mechanically coupled to said blade, whereby retrieval of the lure causes the blade to oscillate. The oscillating-blade action imparts a natural swimming motion to the lure, emulating prey species movements.

摘要: The oscillating fishing lure is a fishing lure comprising: a body with a longitudinal axis, an uppermost surface, at least one hook, said first hook including a shank and a hook end, said shank being coupled to said body; a blade having an edge proximal to said body, wherein, during retrieval, a majority of said blade is oriented below said uppermost surface of said body; a joining mechanism whereby said blade is moveably coupled to said body, wherein said blade has freedom to move with respect to the roll, pitch and yaw axis only within strict mathematical limits; a line attachment mechanism, through which a fishing line is attached to the lure; and whereby retrieval of the lure causes the blade to oscillate in at least one dimension, and thereby causing the lure to erratically hunt. The oscillating-blade action imparts a natural swimming motion to the lure, emulating prey-species movements.
