摘要： A snap swivel for fishing includes a snap component and a swivel component. The snap component includes an eye, a first arm member extending down from the eye, a second arm member defining a lever arm, a bottom flexure region extending between the first arm member and the second arm member, and the bottom flexure region exerting a biasing force to urge the second arm member to a relaxed open position. A coil arrangement formed about the first arm member includes an open gap for receipt of a latching hook on the end of the second arm member in interlocking engagement with the first arm member to close the snap with a distal tip of the latching hook contained within the coil arrangement and guarded to prevent snagging or cutting other fishing tackle.

摘要： A novel fishing tackle rig generally consisting of an open-eye formed by double “U” bends on the shaft of a hook or other tackle, a hook-shield which threads onto a fishing line with a hollow rear section to slide over the open-eye, a solid front section to provide structure, and a pin extending perpendicular to secure the hook-shield to the bait, and a cone shaped bait protecting device where the narrow end threads onto the fishing line and the wide end fits over the bait and other components of fishing tackle holding everything together. In an alternative embodiment, the hook-shield is replaced by integrating onto the shaft of the hook or other tackle a closing mechanism that slides along the shaft from an open position to a closed position that completes the open-eye.

摘要： Lure apparatus for fishing and associated methods are disclosed. In some embodiments, the lure apparatus includes (1) a head portion; (2) a tail portion; and (3) an optional weight portion. The head portion and the tail portion are operably engaged. The head portion has a center opening, which enables a fishing line or wire to pass through. The optional weight portion is positioned inside the head portion to adjust the weight of the overall lure apparatus. The head portion has two side openings. The tail portion has two arms, each of which has a protrusion configured to be positioned in a corresponding one of the two side openings of the head portion. Once the two protrusions are positioned in the side openings, the two protrusions engage with the head portion and restrain the tail portion from moving relatively to the head portion.

摘要： A fishing lure device for use with a fishing line having a blocking portion includes a lure component with an inner passage through which the blocking portion can pass.
