摘要： An extendable and adjustable insect entrapment apparatus reaches insects and pests in hard to reach areas through a multi-jointed elongated rod that hinges and pivots into various configuration to reach and entrap the insects with a pad of stacked, singular sticky sheets. The rod has a proximal end with a formed hole for hanging the apparatus from a distal end. At least one joint in the rod is fixedly set at a desired angle and orientation. The sticky sheets retain any insects which travel or fall into a base at the distal end of the rod. Each sheet is coated with a mild compression adhesive material that entraps an insect in response to an application of force against the insect. Each sticky sheet can be separated individually. Upon entrapment of an insect, the outermost sticky sheet restraining the insect is separated, folded to encase the insect, and disposed of.

摘要： A lice removing apparatus and method of using it are disclosed. The apparatus comprises a flexible fabric sheet having a pair of pockets defined on a first side of the sheet adjacent opposite ends of the sheet. A second side of the sheet includes a plurality of projections, or other physically coarse material, that strip nits from a person's hair when passed there over. A user inserts his fingers and thumb into the pockets, folds the sheet around a lock of hair, and runs the sheet along the length of the hair while squeezing the folded sheet into constant contact with the hair. Thereafter, the sheet is discarded and a new one is used for cleaning a subsequent lock of hair. The sheets may be stored in a contained in a manner that provides easy access for grasping the sheet and removing it from the container with one hand.

摘要： The Portable Fly Catcher is a new invention and is also an improvement on previous inventions that have the same claim. The unique design lends itself to the portability of the invention and the ease of use. It is designed to catch the fly or insect by luring it into the catch basket with the use of a natural pheromone that attracts the insect. Once the insect is inside you simply press the button and the window closes and captures the insect inside. You may release the insect later outside of your home or you have the option to place a sticky strip inside and trap the fly to throw the strip away at a later date. It gives the person using it the choice of releasing the insect or killing it with the strip.

摘要： A device suited for the capture of insects and for the retrieval of small objects is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, the device is comprised of a strip of foam material formed into an teardrop shape that has a tacky adhesive on an area of the strip's outer side. In use, this tacky adhesive is placed against an insect or object, thereby reversibly affixing the insect or object to the strip. Other embodiments include a handle of fixed, or telescoping length, that can hold the strip of foam material so that more distal insects and objects can be affixed to the material and drawn back to the user.

摘要： A device for catching insects is provided which includes an elongated member with first and second distal portions, an insect trapping head mounted on the first distal portion, and an actuating mechanism. The insect trapping head includes a first member and a second member pivotally mounted with respect to each other such that one of the members is moveable from about 0 to about 340 degrees relative to the other member, and preferably to about 270 degrees relative to the other member by activation of the actuating mechanism. When in the closed position, the first and second members define a rigid compartment such that the insect can be trapped between the first and second members. Preferably, a sticky surface on at least a portion of the interior of the compartment maintains the insects within the compartment.

摘要： An insect catching tool has a handle, a tool head, and at least one adhesive layer affixed to an adhesive support insert. The handle is rotatably connected to a proximal end of the tool head, and an insert receptacle traverses into a distal end of the tool head. 摘要： A manually operable flying insect trap includes an elongated hollow cylindrical body having two generally closed ends and a small orifice in each of the ends. A vacuum device including a bellows, first and second ends of an intermediate pleated portion. The bellows also has a compressed state and an expanded state and is disposed adjacent a first of the opposite ends of the body with a small opening adjacent to and in communication with the small orifice in the first of the opposite ends. The funnel shape trap portion is also provided with a small orifice in the narrow portion thereof, a cone shaped piece of fly paper is attached to the inside of the tunnel shaped trap. Finally, a manually activatible mechanism is provided for expanding the bellows to draw air into or out of the body.
