摘要: A wristband can comfortably secure an electronic device, such as a wristwatch or fitness/health tracking device, to a wrist of a user. The wristband can include a number of magnets that allow the wristband to be magnetically coupled to itself when folded over or when separate band portions are overlapping. The magnets can include a polymer mixed with a magnetic material to provide magnetic properties and flexibility. The magnets can be joined together by a continuous support structure that extends through opposing pairs of the magnets. The support structure can provide substantial and ability as well as tensile strength. The magnets and the support structure can be surrounded by a flexible cover to protect the components within.

摘要: A watch strap comprising at least one layer of flexible material in the form of an elongated strip having an end portion adapted to be secured about a bar of a wristwatch, and a reversely bent member of spring metal secured to the inner side of said flexible material. The spring metal member has a bend adapted to encircle a watch bar and two legs which outwardly convex when the strap is in a position secured to a watch bar and is in use. At least one of the legs is convex in two orthogonal directions in that secured position and has a spring snap action, when the legs are pulled apart from each other, whereby the outwardly convex curvature in two orthogonal directions reverses to an outwardly concave curvature in two orthogonal directions to increase the distance between said legs to permit insertion or removal of a watch bar. A second strip of flexible material is secured to the underside of the first strip and to the underside of the outer of the two legs and terminates short of the bend.

摘要: A watch strap is disclosed which comprises a pair of strap elements having mating connecting means at one end for securing a watch about the wrist of the wearer and means at the other end of each strap element for readily attaching the strap element to the case assembly without removal of the spring bars. The attaching means includes a keeper plate mounted between layers of the strap element at the outer portion thereof and a stud plate similarly mounted between said layers at a predetermined distance from the outer portion. The strap is readily assembled or removed from a watch case assembly by inserting the outer portion of each strap element between the spring bar and the case and then joining the keeper plate to the stud plate by the application of pressure.
