Abstract:
Apparatus for painting mainly flat products including a spray booth, in its turn including a plenum, a conveying belt for conveying products at least a device for applying paint, and at least one suction plant, wherein the plenum of the spray booth has a symmetric M-shape including, from the respective peripheries to the centre of the plenum:
two first descending surface portions tilted towards the periphery; two second lateral surface portions parallel to the belt; two third descending surface portions, with a tilt towards the centre, opposite the tilt of the first portions; a fourth central surface portion parallel to said belt, the fourth central surface portion being closer to the conveying belt than the lateral parallel sections.
Abstract:
Provided is a treatment method that directly and separately separates and recovers a resin phase and an inorganic filler phase from a coating mist for an organic solvent-based coating used in general coating application. In a method that collects an organic solvent-based coating spray mist, the treatment method for the organic solvent-based coating spray mist is characterized by including a step for collecting the spray mist by bringing the organic solvent-based coating spray mist into contact directly and at high speed with water that comprises strong alkaline electrolysis water and in which the pH is maintained at 9 or higher and ORP is +200 mV or lower and a step for thereafter separating a solid portion, which has been formed, from the water that comprises the strong alkaline electrolysis water in which the spray mist has been collected. Additionally, the coating mist can be recovered with excellent efficiency and as a reusable resource.
Abstract:
In a system for coating human skin, a chemical composition, such as a cosmetic or medical formulation, is uniformly coated over the entire body or selected parts of the body of the person being coated. The system includes atomization of the coating composition, containment of the atomized spray, and residual recovery which together yield a novel method for applying chemical compositions.
Abstract:
A water washer for spray booth includes a gas exhaust duct, an exhaust fan and a fluid pump. The duct includes an entrance and an exit, with the entrance of the duct including a plurality of apertures. The entrance of the duct is positioned to receive a gas mixed with a spray from a spray application area of a spray booth. The exhaust fan is positioned to draw the gas from the spray application area into the gas exhaust duct. The fluid pump is coupled to a source of fluid and fluid supply pipe, which is positioned to direct a fluid into the plurality of apertures at the entrance of the enclosure and thereby remove overspray from the gas drawn from the spray application area.

Abstract:
A system and process for industrial painting operations is disclosed. The disclosed system and process includes entraining paint particles from a paint booth operation in a stream of air; directing the stream of air to an aqueous bath covered with a layer of small silica particles; encapsulating the paint particles present in the stream of air with the small silica particles; further cleansing the stream of air by removing residual paint particles and other unwanted compounds as the stream of air is directed through an exhaust system; and recycling the encapsulated paint particles remaining in the paint booth.

Abstract:
An apparatus is described for the coating of a human body with a tanning composition, such as a sunless tanning composition, wherein an arm with a plurality of nozzles thereon traverses within a booth to spray coat a body in the booth. The spray nozzles are oriented to avoid opposing air flows and excessive air flows which cause inefficient and uneven, dripping or streaking in the deposition of tanning composition on the skin. In another aspect, the apparatus provides for a foot rinser to rinse the feet of a user while the apparatus applies a sunless tanning composition to the user to avoid overly darkening the user's feet. In yet another aspect, the apparatus provides for a sanitation system to wash-down the spray booth between successive uses.
Abstract:
A method and system for treating objects, the objects are conveyed through a treatment cabin and treated in a treatment space. During treatment solvents are released. Cabin air flows through the treatment space, which absorbs solvents and is discharged as process air from the treatment space. At least one proportion of the process air charged with solvent is recycled in the treatment space and at least one proportion of the process air can be discharged as exhaust air. Fresh air is fed to the treatment space, which contributes to the cabin air, such that the cabin air includes a circulating air proportion and a fresh air proportion. The solvent concentration is captured in the cabin air and/or in the process air and/or in the exhaust air and the circulating air proportion and the fresh air proportion of the cabin air are regulated as a function of the captured solvent concentration.
