摘要： A cover for a toilet seat is a plurality of plastic sheet members having side, front and rear sections surrounding an opening aligned with a toilet seat opening when the cover is placed on the toilet seat to protect a person from contaminants, side members are attached to opposite sides of the sheet members and extend downwardly adjacent opposite sides of the toilet seat. An apron, attached to the front of the sheet members, extends downwardly in front of the toilet seat and bowl to shield a person's legs and clothing from the toilet seat and bowl. An internal flap releasably connected to the sheet members is adapted to extend downwardly into the toilet bowl adjacent the front of the inside of the toilet seat. The sheet members are made of water-soluble material that dissolves at temperatures in a high range. The side members and apron are made of water-soluble material that dissolves at temperatures in a low range.

摘要： A disposable toilet seat cover apparatus includes a continuous, flexible, biodegradable base sheet which has two side edges, a leading edge, a top side, and a bottom side. The base sheet includes a plurality of sets of perforations positioned at predetermined intervals along the base sheet, wherein each set of the perforations extends across the base sheet from one side edge to the other side edge. A coating of tacky adhesive is placed on the bottom side of the base sheet and is coextensive with the bottom side of the base sheet. The base sheet with the tacky adhesive on the bottom side of the base sheet is wound into a roll whereby portions of the tacky adhesive contact portions of the top side of the base sheet. As a result, the roll is maintained as a compact roll. The roll is unrolled by pulling the leading edge of the base sheet away from the roll. The coating of tacky adhesive is water repellent. The base sheet is made from a relatively non-porous paper. By using the disposable toilet seat cover apparatus, a method of covering a horse-shoe shaped toilet seat is provided. In addition, a method is provided for covering an oval shaped toilet seat.

摘要： A novel toilet seat cover is provided herein. The cover comprises a water-impermeable, very light weight, easily disposible paper, the paper being in the form of a porous paper coated only on the reverse side thereof which is adapted to face the toilet bowl with a water-repellent material, thereby retaining a porous paper surface for contact with the user while rendering the paper as a whole water impermeable and non-porous, the paper being provided with a single central straight line longitudinal slit opening or a perforation or line of weakness. The toilet seat cover is folded longitudinally along the slit or perforation and then is folded transversely in a zig-zag or back-and-forth accordion-type fold to be folded at least for the region of the slit or perforation. The toilet seat cover, when in use, is adapted to be placed over the toilet seat and to have its peripheral edges folded under the toilet seat to be retained thereby. Further, by the sole application of body pressure by the user, the toilet seat cover is thus adapted to be made to fit a toilet seat opening automatically. The toilet seat cover may be dispersed in the form of individual folded seat covers or in the form of a seat cover detached from a roll of a plurality of identical seat covers. Thus, with the present invention, the entire sheet is placed on the toilet seat, and the peripheral edges then folded under the toilet seat so that the cover may be retained thereby. Then, by the user sitting on the cover, the slit or perforation automatically extends and expands to provide the optimum opening.
