摘要: An ergonomically-designed racquet stringing machine. In certain embodiments, the stringing machine includes a stringing platform supporting at least one racquet mount for securing the racquet in a stringing plane at an angle of about 1 to about 15 degrees from a horizontal surface. A control unit may be coupled to the stringing platform and operably coupled to a platform tilt assembly for adjusting the position of the stringing platform and the angle of the stringing plane. Additionally, the stringing machine may include a tool storage tray coupled to the stringing platform, with the tool storage tray having a bottom surface that is in a plane non-parallel with the stringing plane.

摘要: A waterproof racket includes an annular skeleton, a receiving pocket having a pocket cavity, and a trampoline layer affixed to the receiving pocket. The annular skeleton is received in the pocket cavity to retain the receiving pocket in an annular configuration. The trampoline layer is affixed to a centerline of the receiving pocket, wherein the trampoline layer is stretched to form a trampoline surface in a tension manner.

摘要: A prefabricated string assembly for use in the stringing of tennis rackets or the like consists of individual transverse and longitudinal strings crossed with one another in the manner of a fabric weave to form a network having outwardly projecting free string ends for fastening to a racket frame. The transverse and longitudinal strings are arranged such that the strings extending in a first direction have a denser setting than those extending in the transverse direction whereby a collecting zone for the more tightly woven strings is formed over a portion of the length of the strings with the wider setting. The collecting zone is closed on at least one side by a removable holder which engages and thus immobilizes the strings which have the denser setting.

摘要: A racket for tennis or squash has a frame extending around a generally planar head area and a plurality of holes are provided therein so as to extend in the plane of the area and open into the latter. A plurality of strings are arranged in the area and connectors are provided for securing the ends of the strings in respective corresponding holes. The connector structure includes a string connector assemblage for each end of each string. Each string connector assemblage includes a coupling element rigidly secured to each end of a string and each coupling element includes a shoulder surface facing away from the end where the coupling element is secured and toward the other end of the string. Each connector assemblage also includes a locating element in the corresponding hole and having an abutment surface facing away from the area. The string and the coupling element are adapted to be pushed into the corresponding hole together so that the surfaces become engaged to hold the coupling element and the string in a predetermined string tensioning position relative to the racket frame.

摘要: A stringing system for a racket consisting of two elements, a prewoven net of individual strings and a two piece fixing device, acting as a string clamp in the string hole of a racket frame under the string's own tension. A first member of the fixing device is tubular in shape and is designed to extend through the interior of the racket frame hole. Its upper portion extends outward from the frame hole and has a slot which separates it into two half shells. A second member of the fixing device is placed over the frame hole and is located entirely exteriorly of the hole. The exterior surface of the second member is adapted to the profile of the racket frame. During stringing of the racket, the first member is placed inside the second member and into the frame hole. The string is passed through the hole in the first member, such that when the first member slides into the second member, its two half shells are pressed together around the string to hold the string in place when under tension.
