    摘要: A mill comprises a housing (3) and a drum (15), provided with cutting members (17), which is rotatably located inside the housing. The cutting members and the drum are made from one piece and the cutting members are formed by local thickenings of the wall of the drum. The cutting members have a cutting edge from which one point (41) protrudes in the circumferential direction of the drum, such that during operation the cutting members contact the material to be milled with this point first. The cutting members are located on the intersection of an imaginary spiraled line (47) around the drum and a number of imaginary oblique lines (49), which run at an angle with the axial direction of the drum. The cutting members are formed by machining the outer surface of a thick-walled drum, such that on the outer surface of that drum a spiral-shaped rim remains, which is removed at a number of places. Cutting edges with clearance surfaces are machined at the remaining parts of the rim.

The cover is formed by a lower casing of almost funnel-shape and an upper casing of a semi-cylindrical shape covering the opened portion of the lower casing. The center of the upper casing is made eccentric toward the fixed blade side with respect to the rotation axis of the rotation blade so that the distance between the inner peripheral surface of the upper casing and a phantom outer peripheral circle of the rotation blade increases gradually toward the rotation direction of the rotation blade and becomes maximum at the side of the fixed blade.

    摘要: The present invention is an improved rotary granular material cutting apparatus and knife blade assembly. The apparatus comprises a perforated drum that may receive granular material into its interior. The grains of material extend through perforations in the spinning drum where they encounter a series of knife blades. The blades are arranged to form angles of contact with tangents to the spinning drum. Those angles of contact are steeper on the side regions of the spinning drum tan on the bottom regions. The apparatus also includes a grooved interior baffle to disburse input material within the drum, and knife-mounting wedges that include toe or base stops to help secure knife it blades in arrangement about the drum.

A plurality of attachment devices are located at spaced-apart intervals on the periphery of the hub. Each attachment device has a tooth releasably attached to it. The attachment device includes an elongate threaded element which is oriented generally perpendicular to a radial line on the hub which intersects the threaded element. The threaded element engages the tooth and pulls it onto or pushes it off of the attachment device. The attachment device includes an elongate locking element and the tooth includes a slot which slidingly interfits onto the locking element. The locking element and slot are configured so as to prevent the tooth from moving radially outwardly from the periphery of the hub.

    摘要: In rotary tire shredding machinery, cutter assemblies are built onto opposing rotary shafts timed together by meshed teeth of two gears, with spacer groups separating adjacent cutter assemblies, allowing two sets of cutter assemblies to intermesh, with cutter assemblies on one shaft interleaving with cutter assemblies on a parallel shaft in a shearing relationship. Each cutter assembly has a construction featuring a series of cutter sectors, with each sector having a separately demountable knife base, with a removable, radially outward knife top. Alternate spacers between cutter assemblies are segmented, with alignment rods running parallel to the axially rotating drive shafts, passing through both the knife bases of the cutter assemblies, spacers, retaining flanges and fixed registering spacer. The rods are secured at opposite ends and the center holding the cutter assemblies and spacers in place, but when pulled, allowing the cutter and spacer assemblies to be removed from the shaft. The knife tops, which experience the most wear may be easily removed for routine maintenance, since they are held in place by radially endwise bolts, but the knife bases if they are worn or damaged may also be removed and replaced by pulling the alignment rods. Some spacers are formed in halves which are offset from each other and welded for extra strength. Spacers and cutter sectors may be assembled and disassembled in-situ on a drive shaft without removing the drive shaft from its support bearings.
