Abstract:
A crushing device which is suitable, in particular, for chips, including a hopper for filling the chips therein, a tearing arm serving as a coarse breaking mechanism, and a fine breaking mechanism. The fine breaking mechanism has a grinding mechanism with at least one centrally arranged, rotating blade head, which operatively interacts with the stationary teeth arranged around the periphery of the grinding mechanism. The stationary teeth are disposed on at least two support segments, and the two segments are movably arranged in such a way that if a coarse piece enters the crushing device, the segments can be separated from the blade head so that the coarse piece can then be discharged.

Accordingly, in a self-propelled crushing machine in which a rotary crusher (1) and a rotary tab (3) for introducing a material to be crushed thrown from an outer portion to the rotary crusher are provided on a self-propelled truck (4), and the material to be crushed is crushed by the rotary crusher and freely discharged to the outer portion, there are provided target crushing rotational speed setting means (5) for setting a target crushing rotational speed (Nhm) of the rotary crusher (1), actual crushing rotational speed detecting means (12) for detecting an actual crushing rotational speed (Nh) of the rotary crusher, crusher drive means (10) for setting the rotary crusher to be freely rotated, and control means (16) for inputting a target crushing rotational speed (Nhm) from the target crushing rotational speed setting means, inputting the actual crushing rotational speed (Nh) from the actual crushing rotational speed detecting means and outputting a crushing rotation control signal (Nhn) for maintaining a relation Nh−Nhm=0 to the crusher drive means by comparing them.
Abstract:
A device for the delayed disconnection or switching-off of the drive of cutting mechanisms of paper shredders, wherein the switching-on process of the cutting mechanisms is automatically triggered predominantly by the insertion of the materials to be shredded into the feed shaft. At least one of the gear stages between the drive motor and the pair of cutting rollers is provided with a spiral or helical gear unit, wherein at least one of the gear wheels of the gear unit is mounted so as to be axially movable in the direction of its axis, and wherein a switching element or limit switch connected to the motor control is arranged in the range of the axial distance of movement of the at least one gear wheel.
Abstract:
A reversing automatic feed wheel assembly for wood chipper includes an infeed assembly and a rotatable cutting assembly spaced from the infeed assembly. The reversing automatic feed wheel assembly also includes at least one feed wheel disposed between the infeed assembly and the cutting assembly to feed wood material to the cutting assembly. The reversing automatic feed wheel assembly further includes a control system operatively connected to the at least one feed wheel to automatically reverse/stop/restart the infeed of the wood material including a sensor to sense pressure or reduced speed in the wood chipper as a result of an excessive load placed on either one of the cutting assembly and the at least one feed wheel.
Abstract:
A milling apparatus comprises a mill for milling of an object material such as a rare-earth alloy. The mill includes a mill main body. A classifying rotor for classification of a powder is provided inside and at an upper portion of the mill main body. The mill main body has an outer circumference provided with three leg portions spaced equally from each other. Each of the leg portions supports the mill main body at a position above the center of gravity of the mill. Each of the leg portions is provided with a weight detector for detection of a weight of the mill holding the object material remaining in the mill. A flexible pipe is provided between the mill and a raw material feeder for supply of the object material to the mill. Another flexible pipe is provided between the mill and a collecting tank for collection of the powder. A controlling portion controls an amount of supply of the object material to the mill by a proportional-plus-integral-plus-derivative control based on a result of the detection by the weight detectors, for maintenance of a constant amount of the object material present in the mill.
Abstract:
A driving and controlling system for driving a shredding mechanism by a motor to shred paper sheets increases shredding capacity represented by the number of paper sheets that can be simultaneously shredded while limiting input current in an allowable range and reduces time necessary for shredding a predetermined number of paper sheets. The driving and controlling system comprises a motor (4) for driving a shredding mechanism (5) for shredding paper sheets (10), and a controller (1) interposed between the motor and a commercial power supply system (13) to control power to be supplied to the motor. The motor has a characteristic to reduce motor torque substantially linearly with the increase of operating speed for voltage applied thereto as a parameter. The controller controls the motor so that the operating speed of the motor decreases as the necessary torque of the shredding mechanism required for shredding paper sheets increases, and the power supplied from the commercial power supply system may not increase beyond a predetermined level.
Abstract:
A rock crushing system or conical rock crusher includes a bowl which is threadably engaged to a main frame. The bowl can be adjusted with respect to the main frame at more than one speed by utilizing a gap adjustment mechanism including a variable displacement hydraulic motor. Preferably, a set of two variable displacement hydraulic motor units can be utilized to drive the bowl with respect to the frame at a lower torque, higher speed setting and at a higher torque, lower speed setting.
