摘要: The invention relates to a device for applying lubricants on the peripheral surfaces of rollers in roll stands for rolling strips, more particularly multiple roll stands with support rollers and working rollers (SW; AW), wherein the lubricants are applied in an area of the peripheral surfaces of the working cylinder (AW) which impinges upon the rolling strip (WB) located between the upper or bottom strip surface and the strippers (AS) placed against the peripheral surfaces. The improvement to said device is characterized in that the lubricant is applied by means of the application rollers (ATW) that can be pressed against the peripheral surfaces of the working roller (AW), whose periphery is impinged upon by the periphery of a coaxially mounted transmission roller (UW) on the peripheral surface of which lubricant is applied by means of spraying, splashing or dipping devices (SD; TW).

摘要: The present invention is directed to an apparatus and method for applying a liquid to a surface. One embodiment of the disclosed apparatus comprises a liquid roller comprising a roller member comprising a cylindrical body having a first side, a second side, an outer application surface and an inside surface. The inside surface comprises a continuous groove extending about the inside circumference. A follower rides in the groove, with one end of a piston arm is connected to the follower and another end of the connected to a piston enclosed within a cylinder. A liquid supply means is hydraulically connected to the cylinder by liquid conducing means. An axle extends axially through the center of the roller member. Liquid dispersion means disperse the liquid from the cylinder to the outer application surface as the roller member is rotated about the axle. A handle member is attached to the axle.

摘要: Material is incrementally deposited using material directed toward a deposition zone. The scan path of the directed material is controlled according to a path plan derived to minimise or reduce derivation from an ideal uniform temperature profile for the deposit during the deposition process. A path plan having an angled scan passes intersecting or over-crossing (for example in a mirrorbox path plan) is preferred.

摘要: A device for mixing fluids, in particular a gas injection valve, nozzle valve, mixing nozzle or jet compressor, is proposed. To that end, a first fluid-carrying device (12) for carrying a first fluid and a second fluid-carrying device (13) for carrying a second fluid are provided; the fluids are mixed with one another in a mixing region (16) that is in communication with the fluid-carrying devices (12, 13). In addition, a means (20) for generating turbulence in the applicable fluid and a heater, with which the fluid can be heated before reaching the mixing region (16), disposed downstream of the means (20) for generating turbulence in terms of the flow direction of the applicable fluid are associated with at least one of the fluid-carrying devices (12, 13). The proposed device is used in particular for mixing hydrogen and saturated steam and to deliver this mixture to a fuel cell.

摘要: In a combination coating film transfer tool and ball-point pen, the transfer tool comprises a case, and a replacement cassette comprising supply and take-up reels and a transfer head. The cassette fits tightly, but removably, in the case, with the tip of the transfer head projecting from the case. The cassette is replaced from time to time, but the case can be reused. Consequently waste of plastic is reduced, and the replacement units can be manufactured less expensively.

摘要: The present invention relates to a system and method suitable for automatic cleaning of a coating or extrusion head of a coating apparatus. The invention includes a scrubbing station wherein a combination of physical contact and strong solvent solution combine to remove coating fluid from the exterior of an extrusion head. A second cleaning station, preferably a rinsing station then further cleans the head of coating fluid and removes solvent used at a first cleaning station. The solvent used at the rinsing station is preferably self-drying thereby obviating the need for any further cleaning action. The invention also provides for the ability to prime the coating bead at the extrusion head so as to have a fully formed bead ready before the head begins coating a substrate, thereby providing an even coating across said substrate. The priming operation preferably comprises holding the head steady over a rotating priming roller while extruding fluid preferably at a constant volumetric flow rate. The extrusion head is removed from the priming station when the coating bead is properly formed, and the extruded coating material is dissolved in a solvent bath at the priming station. The priming operation may also be performed at either of the cleaning stations.

摘要: A pressurized system for the preparation and mixing of two or more component solutions comprising a cleaning solution to produce a prepared cleaning solution for use with various applicators in common use in the cleaning industry. The system is made up of a mobile frame for supporting a plurality of pressurized tanks which are connected through feed lines to a mixing tee fitting to produce the output mixed cleaning solution. An inline heater can be optionally added in one or more of the feed lines to provide heat to the component solution before mixing, and an inline heater can be optionally added after mixing to heat the prepared solution. Pressure is supplied to the system by an air compressor directly connected to each of the pressurized tanks so that the same pressure is applied to all tanks. Pressure is maintained in the system when changing tanks by use of liquid disconnects between the feed lines and the output valves of the tanks, gas disconnects between the compressed air line and the input valves of the tanks, and quick disconnects at all points where solutions may be extracted from the system. This allows easy removal and exchange for any solution tank without disrupting the solution flow through the system and further eliminates the need to drain solution tanks and purge solution lines. The system is composed of inexpensive parts commonly found in industry and is used in both residential and commercial applications for cleaning carpet, upholstery, drapes, and other such textile surfaces.

摘要: The invention is a method and apparatus for encapsulating semiconductor dies via stencil printing in which, after the dies have been stencil printed with encapsulant and prior to removal of the stencil from the dies, the edges of the encapsulating material are partially cured in order to prevent or minimize slump of the encapsulant in the time period between removal of the stencil and full curing of the encapsulant. In particular, the stencil can be provided with a plurality of light pipes that terminate at the edges of the apertures within which the dies are placed. Ultraviolet (UV) or other curing light is provided through the light pipes to the edges of the encapsulating material. Some general or localized heating can be provided to enhance or accelerate the light curing of the edges of the encapsulant, but without substantially curing the remainder of the encapsulating material.

摘要: A multi-purpose pen-shaped container includes first and second receptacle bodies, an applicator device, an end cap, and a coupling unit. Each receptacle body has an axis, first and second end portions, and a peripheral wall that is disposed to surround the axis so as to define a receiving chamber. The first and second end portions of each receptacle body are formed with a coupling member and a connecting member, respectively. The applicator device has a base portion that engages the connecting member on the first receptacle body. The end cap has a tubular cap wall that cooperates with the base portion of the applicator device to define a receiving space for receiving a cosmetic applicator therein. The coupling unit engages removably the coupling members of the first and second receptacle bodies.
