摘要: A piston for a collapsible cartridge for dispensing a material, the piston includes a rigid portion and a flexible portion. The rigid portion has a first diameter, a first end and a second end. The first end is configured to be disposed in a material dispensing direction. The flexible portion has a second diameter less than the first diameter, a first end disposed in the material dispensing direction and a second end disposed in an opposite direction. The flexible portion is disposed on the first end of the rigid portion such that the second end of the flexible portion is disposed to face the first end of the rigid portion. The flexible portion is configured to radially expand and longitudinally compress upon a force applied to the first end of the flexible portion to compress the collapsible cartridge between the flexible portion and an interior surface of a support cartridge.

摘要: An applicator for introducing a fluid to a plant includes a first arm and a second arm pivotally connected to one another at one end. The other ends are spaced apart to receive the plant therein when the applicator is in a rest position and are driven together upon pivoting of the arms to place the applicator in an application position. A fluid injector is mounted on the first arm and includes an injector body and a diaphragm defining a plurality of channels. The diaphragm includes a pliable dome defining a reservoir to receive the fluid and a plurality of applicator nodes. A respective applicator node is positioned near a terminus of each channel. A driving member engages the pliable dome when the applicator is pivoted to the application position. The pliable dome is then compressed by the driving member to direct the fluid through the plurality of channels.

摘要: The invention relates to devices and methods of a puncturing nozzle head for safe and efficient release of fluid when used in assembly with a caulking device or any other fluid dispensing devices. The puncturing nozzle head is disposed over a barrel of the caulking device as a cap. The puncturing nozzle head is formed of a dispensing tube with a base plate. For example, the dispensing tube may be a conical shaped tube extending from the base plate. A plurality of puncturing rods may be disposed at an inner surface of the base plate. For example, the puncturing rods are configured to puncture a sausage pack containing caulking material which is loaded into the barrel of the caulking device. A nozzle head lock ring is provided to lock the nozzle head in position to the barrel.

摘要: A delivery system is provided that includes a device having a body extending along a longitudinal axis between proximal and distal ends. The body includes a proximal chamber, a distal chamber and a wall between the chambers. The body includes a first port in communication with the proximal chamber and a second port in communication with the distal chamber. A shaft is movably positioned within the body. The shaft extends through the wall and includes a proximal plunger positioned within the proximal chamber and a distal plunger positioned within the distal chamber. Pressure introduced through an opening in the proximal end moves the shaft such that the proximal plunger moves a fluid within the proximal chamber out of the first port and the distal plunger moves a fluid within the distal chamber out of the second port to simultaneously actuate a bone filler dispenser. Systems and methods are also provided.

摘要: A paint transfer system for both automatically and manually transferring paint from a paint container directly to a paint brush including a paint container member, a pump mechanism, and a paint brush apparatus coupled together in fluid communication wherein the paint brush apparatus includes a paint brush having a bladder member or housing member positioned and located within the paint brush adjacent to or within its bristle members as well as an optional valve control member for controlling and distributing the flow of paint to the bristle members. In some embodiments, a remote controller is positioned between the paint brush apparatus and the paint container member for allowing a user to selectively activate the flow of paint from the paint container to the paint brush apparatus. A variety of different pumping mechanisms are utilized for transferring paint from the paint container member to the paint brush apparatus.
