摘要: Disclosed is a device for removing tool joint edge burrs from a cap opening of a wheel. The cap opening of the wheel is an opening configured to mount a decorative cap of the wheel. The tool joint edge burrs are formed inside the cap opening of the wheel during machining the wheel and are a circular edge inside the cap opening. The device includes a cutter system which is configured to remove the tool joint edge burrs from the cap opening of the wheel by a first cutting edge and a second cutting edge of the cutter system.

摘要: An apparatus for removing burrs on billets has a supporting element and at least two arms extending from the supporting element. Deburring devices are driven in rotation by burrs of billets. The deburring devices are supported by the arms. The apparatus is driven rotatably and reversibly by a drive between a stand-by position wherein the apparatus is spaced apart from the billet to be deburred and a working position wherein the deburring devices are close to the billet to be deburred and are able to contact a burr.

摘要: Apparatus for removing burrs which develop on semifinished metallic produ in the course of a flame cutting operation has a shaft which is driven to rotate about a horizontal axis and carries an array of round, polygonal and/or oblong cutting tools which extend radially beyond its peripheral surface. The shaft is movable up and down adjacent the path of movement of metallic products with the burrs located at the undersides of the products. When a burr is moved to a position above the shaft, the latter is lifted and is set in rotary motion so that its axially staggered tools remove and simultaneously fragmentize the burr. The shaft is then lowered and the product is advanced to move another burr of the same product to an optimum position for removal of the burr or to provide room for transport of another product to the deburring station. The tools can be used for removal of burrs from straight or curved metallic products.

摘要: An apparatus for deburring radial end surfaces of axially oriented splines abutting annular grooves formed in workpieces such as mainshaft gears. The apparatus includes an axially oriented reference body and a splined workpiece support member rotatably mounted with respect to the reference body. Design of the apparatus is adaptable for deburring a workpiece having either male or female splines, wherein the splines are located in an annular recess disposed within the workpiece. In a preferred form, the apparatus includes a radially oriented cutting ring adapted to engage a radially extending groove for removal of burrs from rear surfaces of the axially extending splines. Also in a preferred form, the apparatus includes a device for axially adjusting the position of the cutting ring relative to various lengths of splines to be deburred. Finally, in the same preferred form, a spring is employed to axially bias the workpiece against the cutting ring so that the workpiece may be resiliently displaced upon occurrence of force spikes during the deburring process.

摘要: Disclosed is a deburring apparatus having a tool holder mounted on a mechanism which moves the holder along a path corresponding to the nominal contour of the edge of a cut such as a groove or slot in the work piece to be deburred. A deburring tool is mounted in the tool holder for movement toward and away from the edge to be deburred and is resiliently biased toward the edge so that it automatically follows the cut and removes the burr therefrom despite variations of the edge being deburred from its nominal location.

摘要: A device for removing the wearing surface of a tire before resurfacing includes a pair of disks detachably fixed together and having a common peripheral groove of partial circular cross-section. A number of ring-shaped cutting bits having cutting edges at each end, each formed having a number of outer surface grooves parallel to the ring axis for causing a rough cut, are equally spaced around the disks in the peripheral groove, with part of the ring cutting edges exposed. When the disks are fixed together, the rings are clamped in the peripheral groove, secure holding of slightly different sized rings being enabled by slots in the disk circumferences which form sector parts each holding two cutting bits. Each ring may be formed with an outer, encircling groove, enabling the rings to be strapped to the disks for additional holding security. Symmetrical ring cutting edges permits the disks to be rotated in either direction for cutting, disk rotation being at right angles to the direction of tire rotation and disk rotational speed being preferably ten times tire rotational speed. Material, transversely removed from the tire in a slicing action, is discharged through the open center of the rings, air flow through the open centers providing air cooling. As exposed bit cutting edges become worn, the bits are turned in the disk groove to expose new cutting edge portions; rings are quickly replaced by loosening the two disks. A variation is described in which the bits are mounted in peripheral disk sockets, turning of the bits in the sockets varying the cutting angle of the cutting edges.

摘要: A rotary scraper comprises scraper rods, an annular support member formed with radial openings through which the scraper rods extend respectively, a position-maintaining member, and releasable clamping means for urging the position-maintaining member into contact with the support member. The position-maintaining member has non-slip surface portions against which the rods engage for securing the rods against radial movement with respect to the support member when the position-maintaining member is urged into contact with the support member. The rods are displaceable radially outwards with respect to the support member on release of the clamping means.

摘要: A beveling cutter (1) is provided in which a cutting blade (10) is composed of, when seen from an axial direction (X): an inner cutting blade portion (16) extending linearly toward a rear side R2 in a rotational direction R and toward the outer peripheral side; an outer cutting blade portion (17) extending linearly toward a forward side (R1) in the rotational direction (R) and toward the outer peripheral side on the radially outer side of the inner cutting blade portion (16); and a bending cutting blade portion (18) that connects the outer peripheral end of the inner cutting blade portion (16) with the inner peripheral end of the outer cutting blade portion (17). During a beveling operation, a cutting force vector (V1) applied from the inner cutting blade portion (16) to an edge portion (3) of a workpiece (2) and a cutting force vector (V2) applied from the outer cutting blade portion (17) to the edge portion (3) of the workpiece (2) are directed toward the center in the width direction of a bevel (5) formed by cutting. Formation of Poisson burr can thus be suppressed.
