摘要： A clamp includes a body, a lead pin moveable relative to the body and an actuator supported by the body. The actuator is axially moveable between an extended position and a retracted position. The actuator includes a camshaft drivingly coupled to the lead pin. Axial movement of the camshaft causes the lead pin to rotate between a first positioned aligned with a first longitudinal axis and a second position aligned with a second longitudinal axis laterally offset from the first longitudinal axis.

摘要： Method and apparatus are disclosed for precisely positioning a pair of components such as optical components, including optical fibers, utilizing an apparatus which includes a first support for mounting the first component, a second support for mounting the second component and an elastic joint formed on the first support for moving the first support in relation to the second support by bending the elastic joint. In a preferred embodiment, the elastic joint includes a pair of parallel elastically bendable arms formed on the first support and bendable in a first direction so that the elastic joint provides a translation module.

摘要： A spring loaded jack lock assembly for supporting a workpiece at fixed points. The assembly includes a vertically movable plunger adapted to be fixedly located in a work supporting position by locking elements adapted to engage opposite sides of the plunger. A camming member is provided to move the elements into locking engagement with the plunger. A power operated piston-cylinder assembly has a rack and gear connection with the camming member to operate it.
