摘要： An improved power operated tool holder and actuator unit (10) is provided which permits use of conventional, manually operable pivoted dual-leg tools (e.g., pliers, nippers or crimpers) and eliminates the need for specialized tools of this character. The unit (10) includes a tool holder (20) operably coupled with an actuator (18) which can be controlled by a foot switch (14). The holder (20) has upper and lower tool leg clamps (78, 82) which respectively hold the ends (178, 180) of a dual-leg tool (172). The lower leg clamp (82) is coupled via an operator (80) to a pneumatic piston and cylinder assembly (30) controlled by switch (14). In use, a charge of pressurized air delivered to the assembly (30) effects movement of a piston rod (40) which in turn moves leg clamp (82) so as to close the work performing ends (182, 184) of the tool (172).

摘要： A nail set holder holds a nail set, which is a punch, to drive nails into boards. The holder includes a hollow head with a sleeve therein for insertion of the nail set therein. The nail set is secured in place by fasteners, such as set screws. The handle is hollow, for enclosing alternate sized nail sets. It is proposed that the sleeve be large enough for larger nail sets, and the thinner ones can be held in place by setting the set screws in further, or by an auxiliary sleeve. Options also include a foam or rubber textured gripping surface on the handle body, and a shock absorber or caulking at the removable cap end to prevent loosening of the cap during vibrations of use.

摘要： A storage riser for mounting atop a work surface has an open-front wall structure including rear, side and top walls and a bifold door assembly for closing the front opening. The door assembly has an upper panel hingedly connected to the front of the top wall and a lower panel hingedly connected to the bottom of the upper panel for pivotal movement between a vertical, unfolded, closed position and a non-vertical, folded, open position disposed in the storage compartment adjacent to the top wall. Coupling brackets respectively project inwardly of the compartment from the opposite sides of the lower panel adjacent to its upper end, the brackets respectively carrying guide rollers which respectively roll in channel tracks on the side walls. Opening of the door assembly is assisted by gas springs, respectively disposed adjacent to the side walls and having cylinders pivotally coupled to the coupling brackets and rods pivotally coupled to the side walls adjacent to the lower end of the front opening.
