    摘要： A coordinated greeting card and envelope are provided. The greeting card includes a theme and the envelope contains a window that cooperates with and supplements the theme. A message and/or artwork is provided on panels of the greeting card to define the theme. The envelope may also include indicia cooperating with the window and the theme (e.g., message or artwork) of the greeting card. The envelope may also include indicia to show areas to include a recipient or sender's address. A user may see a portion of the theme of the greeting card through the window of the envelope. The envelope may also have a message to guide the user to orient the greeting card placed in the envelope such that the message or artwork on the greeting card is displayed upright in the window on the envelope. The window may also include a thin and transparent plastic film to protect the contents of the envelope.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a combination greeting card and gift card presenter. In one aspect, the presenter comprises a cover panel and a gift card panel, the gift card panel including a magnetic strip for storing machine readable information, the cover panel and the gift card panel coupled together along a fold line. In another aspect, multiple intermediary panels are coupled between the cover panel and the gift card panel to allow for one sided custom printing. The cover panel may also be coupled to a gift card holder that comprises a first fold panel and a second fold panel folded together to form a pocket for receiving at least a portion of a gift card. The cover panel and the first or second fold panel may be coupled along an edge, and the fold panels may include tabs for securing the first and second fold panels together.

At least two of the panels (14, 16) have removable edge regions (24, 26, 30) and an inner surface of the removable edge regions of a first of the panels (14) is coated with adhesive to enable the edge regions to be bonded to corresponding removable edge regions of another panel when the blank is folded. A sheet of material (36) is affixed to an inner surface of one of the panels (14) so as to cover an inner region of the panel within the removable edge regions. The sheet (36) may be printed on with a security hatching. Releasable tape (34) may be applied over the adhesive and the sheet (36) may be made of the same material as the release tapes. Various other mailing devices are also disclosed.

    摘要： The invention provides an improved method of transparentizing a paper substrate to produce a translucent area or “window” through which information and data are displayed. The method of the invention applies a transparentizing material to a preselected application site of the paper substrate, and exposes the transparentizing material to heat for a predetermined period of time to help facilitate penetration of the transparentizing material into the paper substrate and prevent migration of the transparentizing material from the application site. The rate of penetration of the transparentizing material into the paper substrate reduces the time and increases the efficiency of the transparentizing process. The invention also provides a paper substrate and a one-piece paper assembly in which a translucent area or “window” is formed according to the method of the invention.
