    摘要： A loose-leaf folder device includes a pair of main components. First half retaining rings and second half retaining rings are arranged on the housing of the main components. Two main components can be combined with or separated from each other. When combined together, the first half retaining ring can be combined with the first half retaining ring of the other main component to form a closed retaining ring to retain loose-leaf paper. When separated from each other, the main component along with loose-leaf paper retained by it can be separated from the other main component to form two independent parts. The second half retaining ring on the housing can rotate and can form a closed retaining ring with the corresponding first half retaining ring to retain loose-leaf paper.

A movable clip, placed at an end of the binder, prevents the relative displacement of the main parts when the binder is closed.

    摘要： A binder for receiving and retaining papers includes first and second strips slidably connected to one another. Each strip includes spaced-apart fingers extending upwardly therefrom. The fingers of the first and second strips are offset from one another when the first and second strips are in a closed position. The first and second strips include releasable locking catches to retain the strips in a closed position, and release tabs for selectively moving the second strip into the open position. A cover having living hinges is attached to a lower surface of the first strip. The cover may include pockets on an outer surface thereof for accepting inserts, such as file hangers or printed labels.

    摘要： A novel binder which opens flat and allows pages therein to lie flat including substantially rigid backing members which protract when a large number of pages are used and retract when fewer pages are used. An improved clamp maintains the backing members immovable in any desired protracted position. Rigid page holders project from the backing members, the holders having free ends spaced one from another a distance determined by the relative positions of the backing members. The holders are detachably connected by a replaceable bridge having a preselected length to correspond to the relative position of the backing members. In an alternative embodiment, selected ones of the page holders have a hinged end connected to one end of the bridge and biased toward an open position and others of the page holders have a bridgereleasing mechanism accommodating simultaneous opening of all bridges at once.
