    Abstract: An escape device for self-rescue in the case of an auto tyre being trapped in a pit includes a central positioning device, at least one tyre claw and a jacking device. The central positioning device is positioned and mounted at a central position of a wheel. The tyre claw and the central positioning device are fitted to each other and are clamped onto the tyre. The jacking device and the tyre claw are fitted to each other. The jacking device is further provided with a jacking head in contact with the pit ground. The jacking head protrudes out of an external rim of the tyre. The escape device for self-rescue can carry out effective rescue for trapped tyres, is convenient and fast to assemble and disassemble, saves time and energy, improves driving safety, and reduces the occurrence of accidents.

    Abstract: A walking wheel for a bicycle riding on a ground surface comprises a hub, many supporting members outwardly extended from the hub, and many walking elements connected to the supporting members respectively. Each of the walking elements has a stepping surface defining a toe portion and a heel portion flexibly extended therefrom. The stepping surfaces of walking elements are coaxially aligned to the hub in a toe-to-heel manner to form a discrete driving surface in such a manner that when said hub is driven to rotate, one of the walking elements is arranged for stepping on the ground surface in a human toe-heel walking manner.

    Abstract: A wheel assembly arranged to provide increased traction upon the occurrence of slippage. The assembly includes tread means mounted on a support assembly for supporting the wheel assembly for movement along a support surface. The support assembly includes a drive wheel section for rotation with the vehicle axle and a support wheel section mounted for rotational movement about the rotational axis of the vehicle axle relative to the drive wheel section. The tread means includes a plurality of tread segments which define a generally circular peripheral configuration for the wheel assembly when the drive wheel section is in the nondisplaced position with respect to the support wheel section. The tread segments are supported by the support wheel section for camming engagement with the drive wheel section for changing the orientation of the tread segments to define a generally noncircular peripheral configuration for the wheel assembly upon displacement of the drive wheel section relative to the support wheel section for increasing the traction of the tread assembly on slippery or soft surfaces.
