Abstract: Provided in this disclosure is a tire with a meandering groove extending along tire circumferential direction formed on a tread surface, wherein the meandering groove has a groove width in tire width direction that varies at a predetermined repetitive cycle along the tire circumferential direction, ratio of the maximum and minimum widths of the groove width, Wmin/Wmax, is 0.35 to 0.85, a first groove wall and a second groove wall, which are both groove walls of the meandering groove, meander and extend in a sinusoidal manner with the predetermined repetition cycle as one cycle length in a tread surface view, and in the tread surface view, a first sinusoidal curve formed by the first groove wall and a second sinusoidal curve formed by the second groove wall are arranged with a phase difference of 1/8 to 3/8 cycle in the tire circumferential direction.

Abstract: A motorcycle tyre has a tread band (8) comprising a plurality of grooves that form a tread pattern including a module (T) replicated along a circumferential direction of the tyre (1) and having a predetermined circumferential length (C1). The module (T) comprises a pair of circumferential grooves (20) arranged on opposite sides with respect to the equatorial plane (X-X) of the tyre (1). Such circumferential grooves (20) extend along the circumferential direction of the tyre (1) for only part of said predetermined circumferential length (C1) and define between them a central portion (A) of tread band (8) having a void to solid ratio substantially equal to zero and a predetermined axial width (A1). The module (T) further comprises a plurality of transversal grooves (30, 31, 32, 33) arranged on opposite sides with respect to the equatorial plane (X-X) at a distance from said equatorial plane (X-X) greater than that of said circumferential grooves (20) and a pair of first lateral annular portions (B) axially arranged between said circumferential grooves (20) and said plurality of pairs of transversal grooves (30, 31, 32, 33), each of said first lateral annular portions (B) comprising, in a position axially adjacent to the respective circumferential groove (20), a respective part (B1) of tread band having a circumferential length at least equal to that of said circumferential grooves (20) and a void to solid ratio substantially equal to zero. The tyre (1) has a curvature ratio lower than about 0.32.

Abstract: A heavy truck tire tread that includes a series of at least 50 similar tread features repeated along its longitudinal direction that include two ducts extending from the surface in the thickness direction, the ducts being joined together by one sipe. They further have one void in fluid communication with the two ducts, the void extending substantially parallel to the tread surface and having a void section area of at least 10 mm2. The tread is formed at least in part of a rubber composition comprising at least 75 phr of a first rubber component selected from a polybutadiene rubber (BR), a styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) or combinations thereof having a Tg of between −80° C. and −110° C. The rubber composition may further include at least 40 phr of a plasticizing resin having a Tg of at least 25° C. and a reinforcing filler.

Abstract: A pneumatic tire comprises, in a tread surface: at least two circumferential main grooves continuously extending in a tire circumferential direction; and at least one rib-like land portion each defined by two adjacent circumferential main grooves from among the at least two circumferential main grooves. Abstract: Provided is a pneumatic tire including a tread portion, sidewall portions, and bead portions. The tread portion comprises a center main groove extending in the tire circumferential direction and a shoulder main groove located outward of the center main groove and extending in the tire circumferential direction. A land portion is defined between the center main groove and the shoulder main groove. The center main groove has a zigzag shape in the tire circumferential direction. Lug grooves extending inward from the shoulder main groove in the tire lateral direction and terminating without communicating with the center main groove are provided in the land portion. A bent portion bent toward a first side in the tire circumferential direction is formed at a terminating end of each of the lug grooves. Narrow grooves extending discontinuously in the tire circumferential direction without communicating with the bent portions are formed in the land portion.
