摘要: A flying vehicle comprising a wing ship body having a pair of wing spars secured thereto; and a plurality of hinged wing-rib assemblies disposed along each wing spar that allows the wings to be folded against the body of the flying vehicle. A method for folding or collapsing the wings of a wing-in-ground-effect wing ship comprising providing a wing-in-ground-effect wing ship having a pair of wings, and folding the wings toward and against the body of the wing-in-ground-effect wing ship. A fabric covered wing folding assembly including a pair of wings with each wing having a wing spar and covered by a fabric. A plurality of hinged wing-rib assemblies is disposed along each wing spar that allows the wings to be folded against the body of the aircraft. A method is provided for folding or collapsing the wings of an aircraft.

The three stage craft includes a hydro-wing 12, either at least a single hydrofoil 13 or gyration rotor 14 to aid with lift from stage one to stage two, and a pair of outboard floats or hydro-floats 16a, 16b supported by the hydro-wing 12, which are also designed to aid with lift from stage one to stage two.

摘要: The present invention concerns an all-terrain vehicle for use over a variety of terrain. The vehicle includes a main body having a cabin, a forward side, a backward side and two lateral sides; a pair of ground effect wings connected to the lateral sides of the main body, each wing having an angle of attack; a lift engine having necessary auxiliary equipment for operation thereof, wherein the lift engine is connected to the backward side of the main body and supplies a lift power to the vehicle; at least one lift fan connected to the lift engine; an engine mounted to the main body to provide energy to propel the vehicle forward; a wheel connected to the forward side of the main body, wherein the wheel is connected to the main body by a drive shaft; a control system to control the angle of attack.

摘要: The apparatus is a ground effect ship utilizing a wing-hull to support a passenger cabin piggyback style. Each one of the wing-hull segment includes a pontoon member that, in turn, includes a turbine unit of dual use, either compressing water or air, so as to eject a quantity of water or air for generating a coefficient of drag for slowing one part of the apparatus down for maneuving. In a like manner the apparatus includes a plurality of wingvalve elements that draw ambinet air upwardly and conduit that air into a primary airstream so that a coefficient of turbulence induced drag reduces the lift on one wing-hull segment of the apparatus with the result that the apparatus biases a pontoon on the water while elevating another pontoon into the air, substantially parallel with the water's surface. This mode of operation is sailing-flight.

摘要: A sea-going craft has a main central body with two wings affixed to the body and extending horizontally away to either side. A catamaran-type hull is attached to each wing end, and provides flotation. The rearward edge of each wing is generally closer to the water than the forward edge when the craft is under power, thus adding lift due to the ground-effect phenomenon. A hydrofoil is affixed to each hull and extends downwardly, and a third hydrofoil is affixed to the central body, extending downwardly. The craft includes propulsion apparatus.

The method comprises the steps of providing a cable connected assembly and a cable release mechanism coupled to the body of an aircraft; and providing a fabric covering the wings of the aircraft. The fabric includes diagonal weaved fibers used to maintain positioning of assembly. The method further comprises releasing a fabric connection to allow the collapsing, and wrinkling of the fabric when the cable is released.
