摘要： A railroad freight car may have external fittings, such as trackside-accessible ladder fittings that permit personnel to climb onto the decks and walkways of the car. Several embodiments of movable ladder assemblies are described that provide an extended or deployed or raised position of a handhold, and a retracted or lowered, or stored position. In other embodiments, the assembly is provided with a compliant member that allows the handhold resiliently to flex when encountered by solid objects such as shipping containers.

摘要： A railway vehicle car includes a lower level and an upper level that are separated by an intermediate floor. The intermediate floor defines an opening emerging on the upper level and on the lower level, and also defines a bridge extending at least partially along the opening. 摘要： The present disclosure discloses a rail vehicle. The rail vehicle includes: a plurality of bogies, where the bogie has a straddle recess suitable for straddling a rail; and a vehicle body, where the vehicle body is connected to the plurality of bogies and pulled by the plurality of bogies to travel along the rail, and the vehicle body includes a plurality of compartments hinged sequentially along a length direction of the rail; the plurality of compartments forms at least one compartment group, the compartment group includes three compartments hinged sequentially, and the bottom of each of only compartments that are located at two ends of the compartment group and that are of the three compartments is connected to the bogie; and in the length direction of the rail, a surface that is of a compartment at at least one end of the vehicle body and that faces away from an adjacent compartment is provided with an escape door that can be opened and closed. The rail vehicle according to this embodiment of the present disclosure facilitates optimization of the structure of an escape passage, reduction in occupied space and the weight borne by the rail, and improvement in stability, and is flexible in steering and low in costs.

The well component comprises two parallel top chords. A pair of end sections are supported by the trucks and disposed at each end of the railcar. At least one end section comprises a pair of running boards. Each running board is disposed on one of the top chords of the well component. The end section further comprises a well platform disposed near an end of the well component at a first height generally even with the pair of running boards and an end platform disposed near one end of the railcar at a second height. The second height is lower than the first height. The end section also comprises an inclined connecting platform extending between the end platform and the well platform.

摘要： An emergency staircase includes a plurality of step forming members that are housed in a casing. A podium and a railing are fitted to the casing so that the podium and the railing can be unfolded against the casing. Each of the step forming members includes a pair of guiding parts which are arranged in parallel, and a step plate that is sandwiched between the guiding parts of each pair and fastened to each of the guiding parts, so that left and right pairs of resulting squarish U-shapes face each other. Inner guiding parts and outer guiding parts are mutually of a similar configuration, so that each inner one is relatively smaller than each outer one by the thickness of the part. The protrusions act as sliding contacts between adjacent guiding parts.
