摘要： A baby carriage comprises an upper frame portion having two spaced apart tubular legs which converge upwardly and terminate in a handle. The handles include hook-shaped end portions forming cane-like ends which may be rotated into juxtaposition to facilitating the carrying of the baby carriage on the arm of a person. A lower frame portion having spaced apart legs is carried on a bracket which pivoted to the upper frame portion and a lower rear frame portion is carried on a bracket which is pivoted to the lower frame portion. Both the lower frame portion and the lower rear frame portion carry wheels for moving the baby carriage and they are held in an extended position by a hookshaped member which is carried on the upper frame portion and which hooks over the projection of a bracket supporting the lower rear frame portion from the lower frame portion. A seat-forming fabric provided with an upper part which engages over the converging portions of the upper frame and is buttoned in position thereon. It includes a lower hard seat portion which extends horizontally and which is supported by side elements which are folded over and buttoned upon an outwardly extending rigid frame forming member which is pivoted on the lower frame portion and on a link which extends to the upper frame portion. Both the seat and the lower frame portion and the lower rear frame portion are foldable upwardly into juxtaposition with the upper frame portion to facilitate carrying of the carriage. The carriage also includes a fabric forming a closed top or parasol which includes an inner end which buttons over the upper frame and an outer end which overhangs the seat portion and provides a shade or covering. A lower foot receiving bag-like fabric member forms a foot portion for the occupant of the carriage which includes an opening which aligns with the front end of the seat portion and which includes side portions which engage upwardly and button to the covering or parasol portion. The construction is such that the parasol portion may fold upwardly against the upper frame portion along with the seat and the foot covering portion when the lower frame portion and the lower rear frame portions are folded into juxtaposition with the upper frame portion for carrying of the device on a person''s arm.

摘要： A collapsible wheelbarrow includes a rigid front bracket, a wheel rotatably secured to the front bracket, and first and second handle arms pivotably attached to the front bracket. The first and second handle arms are laterally pivotable about first and second pivot axes respectively. The first and second pivot axes are each spaced apart from the axis of rotation of the wheel. Preferably a clamping device removably applies a clamping force between the first and second handle arms and clamps a rigid tray between the first and second handle arms. The tray is preferably interconnected with the first and second handle arms to permit relative movement in a lateral direction and to prevent relative movement in a forward rearward direction. Preferably, the front bracket has spaced apart upper and lower walls and the first and second handle arms extend between the upper and lower walls.

摘要： A food serving system for delivering prepared meals to locations remote from the point of preparation, such as to patients in hospitals and nursing homes, which includes a mobile cart having its own low voltage rechargeable power pack that may be utilized to make the cart self powered. The cart has a tier of racks for carrying removable, generally flat, individual, food serving trays. The trays may be disposable or reusable. Each tray is provided with one or more thermally isolated heat transfer devices which may be energized when the tray is placed on a rack in the cart. The trays are constructed to carry conventionally styled, removable dishes, bowls, cups, etc., that may be either disposable or reusable, and the dishes and bowls containing foods to be maintained at a reduced or elevated temperature are placed on the heat transfer devices. The heat transfer devices are intended to maintain the food in the dishes and bowls at the desired serving temperature for extended periods without affecting the temperature of the foods and beverages in other dishes, bowls and cups on the trays, so that when the cart is moved about the hospital they remain at their desired temperatures and the individual trays may be brought to the patients with the different foods and beverages at their separate selected temperatures.

The device includes a main chassis to which is selectively attached a detachable upper carrier element. In detached condition, the main chassis element resembles a light weight hand truck, and may be employed for transporting baggage. In similarly detached condition, the upper chassis element may be suspended from an automotive seat back to serve as an infant carrier. In interconnected relation, the upper carrier element forms a seat of a perambulator, and the floor of the main chassis forms a foot rest. The seat-forming member may be removed from the upper carrier element to form an enclosing frame for maintaining a large bag or container upon the floor of the main chassis.
