    摘要: The present invention relates to a delivery processing apparatus for delivering a sheet after implementing a prescribed sheet processing upon aligning the sheet, comprising an aligning means for aligning a sheet, a conveying means for conveying the sheet to the aligning means and a bundle delivering means disposed on an upstream side of the aligning means in a sheet conveyance direction for delivering a sheet bundle done with a sheet processing. The bundle delivering means is able to choose a conveyable state for conveying the sheet upon nipping the sheet and a non-conveyance state for not conveying the sheet, and wherein when a first sheet among plural sheets to be conveyed to the aligning means by the conveying means is conveyed the conveyable state is chosen whereas when a sheet of the second or later is conveyed the non-conveying state is chosen.

    摘要: In a device for processing documents being transported therethrough along a document feed path, an aligner apparatus comprising: first and second guide walls, each guide wall positioned parallel to the document feed path and facing the other guide wall forming an alley along the document feed path in which the documents are relieved of interdocument forces allowing bottom edge alignment of the documents with the document feed path, the guide walls forming a plurality of openings, each opening in the first guide wall being in alignment with an opening in the second guide wall; and a trap assembly comprising first and second trap levers, each trap lever mounted along the document feed path on a side of the guide wall opposite the document feed path, each trap lever received by one of the plurality of openings in the guide walls and each trap lever opposing the other trap lever and positioned to, when actuated, cause opposing forces on one-another in order to grab the documents as they move along the feed path in the aligner apparatus so as to control the gap between the documents. The trap lever configured with a resilient pad and an air gap to reduce noise when the lever is actuated and contacts the document.

    摘要: A method of registering a sheet in a duplex copier to alleviate the misalignment between the images copied on the front and back of the same sheet and to compensate for paper cut tolerances. The error angle of skew between a target angle, e.g. 90null, and the trailing edge of the sheet is measured and stored during a first pass. When the same sheet is fed through a second pass, the error angle is retrieved and the target angle is adjusted to compensate for the skew error of the first pass so that any misalignment between front and back images is substantially improved over systems that register images to the sheet without any knowledge of the location of the opposite side image.
